  • what is the name this musics ??

  • Final Countdown by Europe

  • rubblish

  • ding

  • good kicks

  • Not to mention any training is hard if you put yourself into it 100%. Traditional Kung Fu is very hard as well. Maybe it was the school you trained at. The one I train at is very hard.

  • Wushu trains acrobatic components not fighting application liek Traditional Kung Fu. Wushu is what you want if you are looking for flashy.

  • no, wushu taolu is performance, sanda and chin na are a part of wushu, kickboxing and joint locking, wushu made "kung fu" smarter

  • Mickey,

wow ~ good, story-teller, you must earn a lot and millionaire within a year if you run a wushu school !!!

  • nope, because 99% of westerners are lazy and havent got the drive to be good at wushu, high turnover of students

  • wrong contemporary wushu made traditional wushu(kung fu) weak and impractical. traditional wushu is much stronger and complete.

  • your wrong what do you know about martial arts? What have you studied what are your credentials? You obviously dont know anything and are just another kung fool

  • ive been doing a traditional style of praying mantis for 8 years, i took jujitsu, iaido, and ishinryu in college. and have been doing yang style tai chi for 2 years. I train at least 4 hours everyday. contemporary wushu is just for show, except for bagua and hsingyi which have been stylized but still hold their traditional great application. i also do free style full contact fighting, and i know for a fact no spinning or jumping kick is a good idea, unless u are facing a complete idiot.

  • and i honestly dont care if u mock my grammar mistakes, i dont take my time when i write these things its not worth it. and to clarify. chin na techniques come from traditional wushu styles not contemporary tournament forms. i think we had a communication problem. because when u say "wushu" it literally means "martial arts". but when westerners use it it can be a highly loaded term. i think we would actually agree if we used a different terminology.

  • so what do you think modern wushu forms are? Wushu taolu is a sport that has kept chinese martial arts alive, and there are more applicable styles, wat about shaui jiao, lohan, nan quan? I fail to see how the strength power and flexibility y

  • ou need for modern wushu make it week? wat about sanda fighters emerging as some of the best all round fighters in modern competition?

  • those are all styles that take traditional techniques and add flare to them, the technique looses its true nature. also modern wushu forms are pretty standard. where is the "art" in everyone doing the same form?

  • a lot of modern taolu forms are still very applicable. and if the performer uses the right strength then you can see that the techniques are strong and usefull. if you learn wushu in china you practice with strength even for modern wushu.

this man is demonstrating it slo so we can see the move a bit better but if you wath some of vids of wushu kicks you can see the true power.

  • in the US and UK some school just teach contemory wushu and nopt practice the strength like they should. but styles like nan quan and changquan are both very usefull if practiced the right way.

  • hey, do you know the name of the song on this video?

  • I think the crazy frog CD got this song.

  • europe - final countdown

  • its called final countdown by europe

  • wushu means martial arts in chinese, there are many styles of wushu!

  • I know some of those :) We're training them as well... Awesome job, just wow.

  • George = dumbass

wushu is just a more elaborate style of the more typical Kung fu.

And being that wushu is more fast pace, id be willing to bet a wushu student would hand a Kung fu student his ass on a platter

  • Do you mean a wushu practitoner who knows sanshou? Then yes. But there are more kung fu styles than within contemporary wushu. The applications for most wushu moves are not practiced, even though every move has an application in contemporary wushu. The "commies" use mostly only sanshou movements which are very essential combat movements, but everything else is not touched upon. Styles such as Choy Lay Fut and Hung Ga are very widely practiced and have good representation in sanshou competition.

  • Choy lay fut and hung ga and any Chinese style that has a name besides sanshou or wushu is probably a traditional style. I claim to know how to use "kung fu" as people call it.

  • I think you haven't seen all of "kung fu", but that, you must mean traditional style fighting, because traditional style fighting is SUPPOSED to be extremely fast. watch?v=tuJatTVdukE

  • bith, wushu is a movie martial art ,most people call it a sport now ,in traditional kung fu all the moves are application wheres most of wushu is jumpy spinny with some application (its still awesome though from a gymnastic view)

  • wushu, martial art, and kung fu are synonyms in Chinese, they mean the same thing

  • i completely agree with mabu888, and just to add. the people who are really good at their forms in contemporary wushu mainly just practice their forms and dont do sanda/ sanshou. and contemporary versions of Lei tai like sanshou have many rules. if u put a traditional kung fu practitioner who trains for fights with no rules up against a strong guy who only knows basic punch, roundhouse, traps and throws. who will win when the traditional guy throws a groin kick and gouges the eyesatthesame time

  • I would like to see wushu working in a real fight agaisnt any style of kung fu or any style of fighting period lol

  • Easy, just search for Sanda, Sanshou or combat kungfu.

  • However, they (wushu) can apply only very small amounts of what they do in their forms, which are intended solely for athletic performance. However, the traditional stylists should, by definition, train and drill the more complicated movements all the time and use these principles. The results that dilignet traditional stylists gain are such that one can recognize the specific traditional style used in combat. I have used choy lay fut and taiji quan movements as well as sanshou and shuai jiao.

  • who cares. I practice Wushu. to perform. not fight. When I'm gonna fight, the forms make my moves. I dun move to make my forms. Its natural instinct already. For example, if you keep doing a move on one side, eg, whirlwind kick, and you try doing it on the other. You can't. So Ive got the natural instinct and you ppl dun have. I dun say i may win with WUSHU tat i learnt. I'm saying wushu gives a foundation and I like that kind of foundation. In the end its the skillful guy who wins.

  • haha CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THIS SONG!! wooo! haha
