Running rich causes afterfires, due to fuel running rich making it into the hot exhaust pipes. When fuel reaches hot exhaust pipes it combusts and then thats how you get the popping sound.

Is it normal for these cars to have such violent backfires during the warmup? I'd be so afraid to hurt it, these machines are simply priceless!

i actually think that it might be the 246 dino grand prix car and the one in the background is the 500/625, the dino uses a v6 2.4 litre
