C-Channel frames twist very easily, buyer beware! Get a trailer with fully enclosed tubular steel... much stronger and way more stable under load! I've seen these trailers before and conducted testing on it... its not actually road legal...........
@maximum1978 my trailer is taged and dot doesnt seem to think its unsafe but the frame is a little week thats why there arent for towing anything over 800 pounds
I was putting mine together yesterday. I spent at least 3 hours on it, but I had somewhere to go, so today I need to put the wheels and lights on and it will be all set. Then I need to make a rail for it so I can carry a motor scooter from Ohio to Florida
Gee Man, Great video. I hope you enjoy your trailer for many years due to the amount of time you spent building it. I had to laugh at the wee boy with his bike watching you, don't know if its your son, but how many packet of crisps/chips was he eating, it seamed a lot.
I think I would buy a trailer pre-build unless I got it a lot cheaper If I had to build myself ?
It's doing well. I built a rig to hold the front and rear wheels of a 2008 moped. I then ratchet strap the underside to the trailer. It seems to do well.
Looks like something you would pull with a riding lawn mower...

my 3 boxes arrived yesterday. I've inventoried them, all but castle nuts were packed.
I'm building 5002, a sm boat trailer similiar but different. Your visual gives me courage :>)
