seems that it fit as the original, seeing as grave digger is van like now but the original was a ford pickup truck, but this is van like. so, maybe there was a OTHER original?

Yeah, this was the first actual monster truck Grave Digger. The red ford pickup was a mud bogger. This was the first full blown monster truck version. It was later painted black and green.
