I love how ppl just assume you give her a soother at 3....ass. She's so beautiful:) I'm trying to find how what kind of delay my son has, while waiting for his speech therapy. H'e not that hard to understand, but still strangers can't understand him a lot.
= ) have you taken her to a speech therapist? her tongue is always so low when she talks... its as if she things its stuck there! maybe because of to much use of the pacifier. she is cute!
@NikitaCrvlh Yes! She started speech therapy at the time this video was taken and has been ever since (2.5 years now....). She has also had her tongue clipped, which seemed to help her lift it, a bit. She never did use a pacifier, so we know that wasn't the problem! :-)
@TheRuby4 She is making great strides!! I've posted a couple newer vids to give you an idea. And, yes, her Speech Therapist at her Developmental Preschool is doing PROMPT with her! :-)
I have 10 year old daughter that was diagnosed with speech apraxia when she was 3 years old. She went through a great deal of therapy, and I am happy to report that she is now a A student in 4th grade and has very little speech problems. As a matter of fact when her teachers find out about her disorder they are amazed. I hope all turns out well for your beautiful child. Don't ever give up hope.
I have the same speech problem.

I wonder how she's doing now. Has a speech therapist ever tried doing PROMPT with her?

My son also has apraxia. He has PDD-NOS as well though so he doesn't have conversations...and he's 3. :(
