Babyface could have a 20 hour concert of just songs he wrote for other people. Sooo much talent.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!! I love Babyface but he should never try to sing these songs. lol. I know he wrote them for Toni but it just doesn't work. Once Toni Braxton touched them no other singer can sing them with her emotion or voice.

@jafarhie well if he just wrote it, I'd agree with your point... however, he made the instrumentation to go along with it, and he also taught Toni line by line exactly how to sing it... so how could he possibly ever mess it up? I think what it is is that you're so used to hearing Toni on it, and that's understandable, but saying he's somehow messing it up is just ludicrous lol

@experiment0003 I understand your point but the beauty of Babyface is that he wrote these songs specifically for Toni's voice. Even when I hear someone trying to cover any of the songs Face wrote for Toni it never seems to work out right. They are his songs so he does have a right to sing them but I would rather he not.

@jafarhie well let me reiterate... If you've been to a recording session where an artist is learning to sing a song for the first time, the songwriter and/or vocal arranger (usually with the help of the producer too--but having all three around works well, and in this case, Babyface happened to be all three) literally teaches the artist the song line by line and phrase by phrase. Some times, even ad libs and riffs are even the idea of the aforementioned. So how could he mess it up? I get u tho'
