  • how is this driving next to a big truck?? does the car feels like its being pulled into the truck? and also what it the top mph did you reach with this car and how was it. I'm considering buying this care next month and want to know the perks about it. thanks man ;)

  • @sexydime1212 theres no pull in feeling next to a truck.. am i supposed to feel that with cars like this? the car is actually pretty high. when parked next to other cars on the lot, the versa stands alot taller, and you can tell that theres alot of room for lowering by just looking at the wheel well.

max mph ive driven is prob 80 ish? i havent tested its max, thats just the max ive been at in this car.. and it wasnt bad.

its CVT so you hear a little drag as the rpm goes up, but its fine

  • @wannak00kie thanks so much.. i was reading other comment and someone mentioned that while they were driving next to a huge truck it felt as if they were being puled in

  • It looks like a nice car, but I dont know how long i could go withought a center console/arm rest.. lol Do you have the mp3 set up in there?

  • @yurmomf007 ha yea the lack of center console.. is.. noticeable at times. i dont store much in the car like CDs or anything, but it would all have to be shoved into the glove box. i have one folded bounty napkin that i keep under the e-brake, and a pair of gloves in the glovebox.

what mp3? i had a wire that plugged into the aux input from my ipod to the radio, but you know how headphones break? my wire broke likethat too. so i just have the radio.

  • @wannak00kie aw fer sher :) thanks!

  • It revs so high because it's a CVT, that's just how they work.

  • I am just going to get out of college. Thanks for the upload. :) Great work

  • Nice review man! Love the gauges!

  • I'm looking for the SL version, but thanks for the review!

  • Great vid review. Never considered the versa as an option, but the price tag and gas mileage is talking to me.

  • I like that it has a temperature gauge! I was looking at Subaru's but walked away when I realized that the cheaper models don't have a temperature gauge.

  • love my 2009 hatch. never a fan of the sedan personally but whatever floats ur boat :) GREAT CAR! welcome to the Versa family :)

  • @kphillips012 haha tyty

  • Great review, i just bought my mom one, we were so astounded at the amount of room it had, great for the people who dont have any use for technology.......we opted for the spoiler $300 and the LED kick plates $250 with the SV, Titanium, awesome mileage too,

  • @soyboy72 ha dang nice, i wasnt a fan of the spoiler, but i wanted the kick plates, how are they? yea the mileage is pretty good. for the first 1200 miles i drove it at around 50 mph tops and avged almost 40mpg-- it was like 39.5 or .6 or something. now, driving it reguarly, its dropped to 36, which still isnt bad compared to other cars

  • How's the driving on your 2012 Nissan versa? I was thinking of buying one I am looking around for small sedan car.

  • @ladyyuna2000 its not bad. not too noisy if you accelerate gently enough. i was driving around a friend today and he said the ride felt pretty smooth. steering is smooth, the ride gets bumpy on potholes or bumps-- stuff you might not feel in high end cars, you will still feel in the versa, but i like driving on rugged roads so they dont bother me.

yea this is def a good pick for a small sedan. its so big inside, and in parking lots it always looks elevated rather than small compared to others

  • I like the design but the interior 2011 > 2012

  • I visited a Nissan dealer to check out a Versa. Not to mention I picked up a brochure. I'm from Canada and the starting price is $11,798 CDN, before freight and PDI, for the S model. Is it really worth it to buy the S model?

  • @jspector86 well depends on what your looking for? sure if its your first car and you want something affordable you could try it. but other than that, i dont think most people buy it, and especially not the S-- they would go higher. ill be honest, i still havent seen a versa sedan 2012 model on the streets other than my own. not one. its a really good car to commute with since it gets good mileage and its good as a first car. thats what id think.

  • (ctd). if your an older person, if you get the versa, get a higher trim or the features might bore you.

  • What's the NVH levels like in this car? Is the engine chattery, is it noisy over bumps or on the highway? What are you driving impressions of it?

  • @flatblackstrat driving it is not as bad as i thought it would be for a car of this price. the suspensions not amazing or anything, you feel most of the bumps of the road: potholes, potholes that have been covered over poorly, etc. But the ride is still smooth over your average highway

now keep in mind, i used to drive a 2002 mitsubishi montero suv before this, so any level of the new tech used for quietness is "omg wow" for me. ill post a second comment

  • @flatblackstrat the engines a little noisy when its sitting there idly, i guess its normal for a car of its caliber, other than that, when you drive it, you dont hear it at all. the acceleration is a little too noisy for my liking. you can feel the revving and the gritting noise that comes with it when you start reaching 3k. handling is smooth enough.. but yea again, keep in mind, my impressions are always compared to the suv. anything else, just lemme know

  • nice vid. to be honest i was gunna get this car but now im just gunna work one full year and save all my pay checks for a ford focus instead.

  • @diszkidwaszheresz haha whatever floats your boat man. i was first considering the focus vs. hyundai elantra. but then i dropped a class and went with the versa instead. focus is a pretty sweet ride, and yea if you can save up for it, go for it. as long as you do your research, itll be a sweet buy

  • @diszkidwaszheresz Wait for the 2013 sentra.

  • @2004NissanSentra any promo shots? i was actually considering getting the sentra instead of the versa, but too many people had it, i wanted to try something new.

  • What was the cost for this car? Great vid man. I'm getting it for my 18th birthday:)

  • @Mg60070 starting was around 14,500. dealership added carpeted floor and trunk mats- they called "forced" options,it brought the price a little higher. Eventually the price got haggled down back to 14 something.. and with tax, destination fee and DMV good stuf...it all came out to 16 something. yea.. big jump.haha hope you enjoy it man, its def fine for a first car, and even better if you get the convience package.. but hey.. birthday gift = get whatever you parents are willing to get you :P
