I was a student at a WWASP school called Cross Creek academy and those seminars are mandatory if you ever want to go home. They pretty much do exactly this shit. There isn't much of a mention of god but the rediculous brain washing and robotic yelling and screaming is a common theme. Many kids (like me) were and are being forced to go through this nonsense.

When I was a child I lived in a small town called Dickens, TX. The church was the backbone of this town. So much that to get to school we had to be bussed 12 miles to another city. This may look strange but it is just extreme Christianity. They are just a matter of pouring out their emotions into what they believes. They are not scared at all. Some of it may be a bit over the top emotionally but I do not think it is harmful as long as they are raised to be emotionally strong like Jesus the Christ was and is.

When I was a child I lived in a small town called Dickens, TX. The church was the backbone of this town. So much that to get to school we had to be bussed 12 miles to another city. Other than school work the only thing we had was the church and we were forced by the community to do this. Everything in this camp video is something I lived 4 days a week. Summers were even worse. I never felt safe living in this. To question anything was dealt with by emotional and physical abuse!

you must admit the claim that there's a god is a mighty big claim. dont you think in order to accept such a proposal there should be good reason to accept it as a valid concept? without any powerful evidence backing something that is supposed to explain the beginning of the universe or the purpose of life in general i find that atheism is the only sensible stance on the idea.
oh, and atheism and agnosticism are not mutually exclusive. atheism simply implies "strong" skepticism.
