@zucchini2007 I went through a deep depression for about five years, and I was at a point where I was very close to losing myself completely. A friend of mine sent me a link to him performing "February Song" at the Commander in Chief ball in 2009, and even though I wasn't a fan of "modern" music I decided to try it out. The emotional release I felt after hearing that song truly can not be described in words. It inspired me to seek help, and a year later I am healthy and happy. :)
@Chessloverforever Well, I hope you will continue on that path of recovery. I also went through depression, but I didn't hear Josh's music until much later. My pastors from church prayed for me in Jesus' name, and I confessed all my sins. And that's when the depression stopped.
@Chessloverforever - I just finished listening to this my favourite 'Josh' song & scrolled down to read the comments & your post sounded like it came from me. I too went through an extremely hard time some years back to do with the love of my life & Josh's music saved me. I remember sitting in my room & sobbing like my heart would break, thinking that I wanted to die for nights on end, but his music got me through. It's nice to know that someone out there gets the absolute power of his music.
man, i love his voice. i`m a baritone,too. i would love to sing a song with him. i have his album "awake" on vinyl. dimmin`the light, a glass of vine and listenin`that`s the best on earth. :-)

He says he's not a hero, but his uplifting music has quite possibly saved lives. He says he's not an angel, but he sure sounds like one. :-)
