This game would've been much more successful if it had 12 superstars instead of 10, different movesets for each wrestler as well as their respective finisher and a Royal Rumble match to add to the Singles, Tag Team and Survivor Series matches. Luckily the games got better after this one with WWF Royal Rumble in 1993 and then WWF Raw in 1994.

For all the people who are hating, LJN also did Royal Rumble for SNES and Genesis and it improved on many of the flaws in this piece of shit. Not everything LJN touched was garbage.

This game brings back such great memories. I like the sound design MUCH better on this game then the subsequent Royal Rumble and Raw games. Funny though, the sounds are so epic for such inconsequential moves like punches, kicks and falls. Like when a wrestler hits the mat it sounds like he's landing on plywood. I think that's what made the game fun.

@SuperstarOfWrestling LMAO! I always compared the sound of wrestlers hitting the mat to that of landing on metal, which I'm certain would hurt a lot. The sound (on the SNES version) is one of the few good things about this game.

This game sucked. In fact, there was no real good wrestling game until THQ's WCW VS NWO World tour came out for N64. Though i remember really liking Tecmo Wrestling on the NES but i'm pretty sure it was shit looking back. Probably better than this one here though. I also owned Pro Wrestling on nes, and i remember Tag Team Wrestling with its selectable set of moves when you grappled (the moves names would appear and you'd scroll through until you got the one you wanted). Also the WCW game on Nes.

those game were weird a hell because both systems had a diffrent roster. SNES had a much better roster then the genisis verson of this game the only 3 wrestlers that were on both versions of the game were macho man, hogan and ted d. genisis also had ultimate warrior,shawn michaels,birttish bulldog,papa shango and IRS
