All electric?? what for? Must be a noise thing. Those big electrics and ducted fan electrics even the small ones are pretty dang loud!! Sorry to here about the lose of a awesome looking flying feild!!

It was more political than noise in my opinion. The GS fliers did actual dB noise readings on all of the aircraft flying at the field (gas, nitro, etc) and the big gassers did not have the highest dB readings. When I saw how the club handled this, I joined other clubs. It went electric about 1 1/2 years after I left.
