    Check your email :-)

  • Loose the music, it is a major distraction to anyone with even a slight hearing imparment.

Thanks for your information; come to London sometime and see old world treasures free of charge, at the city's museum here.

    Cheers.

  • @YouAreSpotOnWithThat Thanks for your feedback. Music in videos like these is always up to some debate, but with my microphone quality, it was a must to drown out the hiss that you'd otherwise hear. That said, I was never quite satisfied with the music that I picked here and agree that the mix muffles my narration at points.

I would love to go to London. Some day when I have the time and resources, I'll go!

Glad you liked it .. let me know if you want the original :-)

  • Oh well at least you can still read the books there.

  • I wonder how long they let you check books out at the Library of Congress?

I also wonder if some books that would be considered reference books at standard libraries, would be available for checkout to the public?

  • Hi TheUniverse3000,

Good questions. I haven't been to the LOC in two years, so things may have changed, but, as I recall, when I was there they were only checking out books to members of congress or other VIPs. So that bit in Reading Rainbow where LeVar gets to check a book out can't happen today ...

I wonder if jamaalrenee will see this and can provide more insight.

    Thanks for watching!

  • I work here at LC. You did a wonderful job.

  • Cool! Thanks for the nice words!

  • I really enjoyed this-never have been to LOC. Thanks.

  • glad you liked it!
