Fair point but irrelevant to my comment. What I meant was that women show what they must in order to go about their daily business-although the style varies from woman to woman-these lot have special uniforms that are designed to cover yet allow them to do move around etc whereas I would have a simple hijab and jilbab(long coat) since all I do is go to college and back.

Also, we have a concept of "joint effort" in Islam meaning that women do their bit-that is to cover up- and men do theirs- that is to lower their gaze in the presence of strange women. The trouble starts when one of them doesnt do their bit which creates a sort of "imbalance" in the society. And as a side note-men too have dress restrictions although those for women are stricter and more precise.
