This is a very interesting design for an Eva Unit! The hands are a little..prosthetic looking. I feel like it should have a hook hand too so it could be a pirateEva.

@GundamGuns I've seen both movies, although the second one was a bad CAM job, with the first being a DVD import. The 1.11 had an official release in the US so it's only a matter of time for the second movie, which was actually shown on March 20 in Ireland, but I wasn't able to get a ticket. That said I didn't try very hard either.

It's very cool, it has visor-like eyes, but otherwise looks like a thiner version of shogoki, just that it's black and blue with the same yellow/orange hightlights as unit 05.

While I don't have the newer Unit 05, it's my understanding only the colours have changed to be like it was in the movie. The first release had the prototype/preliminary colour scheme.

the colors as well as some of the proportions have changed. I think it is pretty cool and really only worth buying if you want either a complete collection of revoltech evas or if you dont have either version of this guy.

Either Bandai or the Revoltech would work well. The sniper rifle with the Revoltech is much better, but overall the Bandai wins. If you have the cash to spare Bandai, otherwise Revoltech both will look awesome!

For Bandai the Blue Unit 0 has the sniper rifle, Yellow Unit 0 has the shield and then you need unit 01, it's going to be pricey! over Y18,000!

the "pancake flippers" were the same thing they use on certain trains to gather electricity from the wires above(with the occasional spark). it further emphasizes itself as a power source by having the cable go into the umbilical cable slot in the back

the assemble borg things were thought up by yasuhiro nightow (trigun/ gungrave) and distributed by revoltech. the idea is that you use parts of them to create other robots of your liking. as for the revochip, i have no idea.

30 points= pliers to help remove broken/stubborn joints or a box to hold extra joints (probably what the box you got was for)

50= mini assemble borg figure in black, transparrent grey, or transparrent white.

I believe, though, that this promo is only good in japan. If you know japanese, the official revoltech website would have more details
