Mortenson says "Discrepancies were the result of condensing events and collaborating with a co writer". I could chalk up a few minor discrepancies to sloppy editing, but........not this.......You were either captured by the taliban and held against your will or you were not. That is what is recounted in this non fiction book. This is either the truth or a lie....not a discrepancy. He needs to come clean about each SPECIFIC accusation.

60 Minutes might do better to investigate Obama's 2 memoirs which HE still to this day declares that HE wrote them alone with no ghost writer
Now it's coming out that HIS buddy Ayers did the deed when Obama couldn't make good on HIS 1st payment from the publisher & so HE turned to Ayers. Ayers did it so that Obama could get elected into the Senate
Mortenson apparently did it for $ but Obama clearly did it for that and much, much more
