As the train starts, solo flute reflecting the sounds of lone valley slowly interleaved with Guitar. I think here is one another counterpoint. I think IR is the greatest living countrapuntist so far i know. ONE NEED TO HAVE MULTI DIMENSIONAL THINKING CAPABILITY to make a counterpoint work one in shot. Well, after the percussions echoes the emptiness filled in the valley and takes us to the peak of ever enchanting mood with heavy orchestration of bow'd strings. Only legends make this Simply!

I think, only the normal minds compare things for mediocrity, Indeed artists are those with abnormal, exceptional minds. Often normal minds pull them down those to bring the ego. But that aside, as an artist, both IR and ARR are simply Great! The fact that i realized with IR music is exceptional because he could be one of the great composer who knew both western and carnatic, not for film sake, but some thing beyond in a manner that none of the indian composer did.

there are so many people like Harris, Yuvan giving the same sound of music or at times better music than ARR. Tell me who the heck can match IR.. No credit taken away from ARR for his wonderful achievements..

I remember watching this movie during my school days. Those were the days when I just watch a movie for the comedy/action. I didn't pay much attention to this gem. Thanks to isaignanidasan for posting this. I don't think I would have watched this movie again but I am glad that I get to hear this mind-blowing music again.
