@BRUTUALTRUTH yes. That's what he became in the UK. However, a bit later he appeared in Ireland and in some ITV regions in the UK in the Canadian version, Jeremy. I think this is the only cartoon to have been seperately dubbed twice in the same language.
OMG, I could not be more jealous! Sweet Jeremy the bear is my absolute favourite childhood character and the stunningly beautiful animation was my first "art appreciation" moment of my memory. Easily my favourite show as a child. Thank you for sharing him with us!
Thank you, this is very interesting to me. Are there by chance any pictures of the puppet that was made especially for you? It sounds incredible. I'd love to track down all 53 English-language episodes of "Jeremy The Bear" to give to my nieces and nephews; my 7 year old niece has a friend who has a Bratz doll and I think that it is high time I get involved and show her something worthwhile like Jeremy.
I got the puppet for Christmas, direct from Poland. The creative director and puppet maker of the original Colargol series made it for me. It's a very very very special order...

How the heck did you get around to getting this puppet? How much dd you pay for it!? Nice! I used to watch this show when I was a kid in Quebec.

Frankly, I simply asked his creator. And he said yes. The puppet was expensive, but honestly, it's priceless.
