I totally agree, James and Murray were a perfect combination. Two legends, its sad that James died so early, I know he smoked a lot, drugs, partying, things like that. But 45, that's terribly young. I didn't realise James and Murray were really good friends, but u can see that at the end. James, a multi-talented man+he said what he thought, perfect combination too.
James Hunt lived life to the fullest....he packed more into his 45 years than most do in a lifetime. So don't be sad. Also a fantastic commentator ...one of the best ever..thanks James Hunt. RIP.
James Hunt always said his opinions with no fears, so genuine and direct to the point of the issue. I really miss his presence in the world of F1, see you champion....
One of the main reasons i watched F1 was for what he said. Truely an amazing person. Like Murray said in his Eulogy, packed more into his 40-odd years than other put into 90.
i agree with nachokiller, very good video thanks for this, james hunt was brilliant, he once asked... (less then 2 minutes after getting out of his f1, winning the 1976 championship) for cigarette, luv it. x
I have seen that clip. It's one of my favorites. He was a real beauty, even though I'm too young to remember him racing, I do remember him doing some commentary.
Yeap, he was a class act. His driving and commentaries gave me a lot of pleasure

@joxter74 Aye, pulling his friend Ronnie Peterson out of his burning car without flinching, that is sheer heroism.

As an American, I thought he was truly THE epitome of Grand Prix and Champion. More so than Mario Andrett, and I loved Mario.
