  • What font do you use for your cities?

  • @WxTracker15 The font is called BankGothic.

  • how did you make it look so good/real

  • yes really.

  • i can do the same thing using wunderground.coms wundermap and nexrad.

  • Bull shit....GR is far better that wunderground. I have used wunderground and I own GR and GR KICKS WUNDERGROUND'S ASS!

  • hmmmm guess its a matter of opinion. I question your credentials being your only 20. A real meteorological degree (a bachelors) requires 4 years study and your only 20.

  • I am not 20.

I know meterologists who hate wunderground Like I do.

  • obviously they are idiots and i say this because i have tried ALL the downloadable weather radar systems (StormLab, weathertap, storm predator, grlevel x, accuweather radar plus, weather defender) and NONE of them offer anything special that i cant obtain for free from wunderground. They just want your money.

  • I disagree. I think GR hass the best capibilities for costumization. On wunderground, can you add street level mapping, change the warning colors, color tables ect.?

  • yes all the overlays are applied to Google Maps which includes neighborhood level mapping, plus there is weather model overlays, hurricane data, current conditions, watch/warning display, tornado info, storm tracking, and visible satellite. TDWR data is also available. NDFD model runs ar overlayable as well.

  • @gunnlover GR also has Level II super res which is not a option from free sites (and google earth)... A allison house sub can also get you up to the minute lightning data with custom icons, very fast radar updates, you can get model overlays for GR too as well as TDWR radar sites. GR2AE has the 3d option which you can't get anywhere else for free.

  • @WxTracker15 yes but some arent financially wealthy enough to afford all of that together. $125 for gr2ae plus $30-50 for allison house..... i feel i do quite well with my free resources all things considered

  • I love the font looks alot like barons FastTrac, also the background as well.

  • is that GRTV or GR2AE....and what did you use for the telestration?

    Nice video!

  • I used GR3 and the draw thing was Annotate pro.

    GRTV was discontinued... sadly.:(

  • what color table is that?

  • What type of radar is that? Where did you get it?

  • This is when every county that night was under a severe thunderstorm warning. Man that was crazy!! A few areas of rotation were noted and I think this was the storm that produced a possible tornado in Lewisburg.

  • How did you do this?

  • A stack of books and a camcorder. It was difficult. It took 4 attempts to make the video too because the camcorder kept on falling off.... lol!

  • nice radar looks like tv

  • Thanks! Just need the pixel query and i'm set..... lol
