Not bad. Pretty good, but I'm almost positive Delbert wrote AND recorded this before Emmylou Harris ever touched it. You might want to listen to Delbert, and some Delbert covers. Then you might try it again a little slower with some of his pacing so people can understand to words and the meaning better. This is a powerful song.

You do sound a little like Emmylou.

Well chosen cover. Your voice is great. It would be quite a feat if you also played some of the lead break to fill it out, but Emmylou had Albert Lee as her sideman. I'd like to find some tab for an acoustic guitar arrangement of the lead solo cause it's such a tight song, and I love that period in Emmylou's career when she was topping the country charts.
