This makes me sad -- they put so much effort into stuff back then, especially when it came to entertainment. Everything nowadays is so straight to the point and cheap.
Nostalgic for the good old days. The days when you couldn't wait for the SNES to come out so you could play the games in glorious 16-bits, McDonald's had actual playplaces (instead of the inside crap we have now), and you were just waiting for your favorite cartoon characters to come on the air to say something about Christmas. I am definitely favoriting this and thank you, StillSleepDeprived for putting this up.
What an amazing Christmas this was. I was eight. It was freezing cold that year in my town in Florida, and my dad bought sprinklers and turned them on during the night. When we woke up, we had icicles all over our yard. I'd never seen such a thing. I got my SNES, a new bike, and my younger sister was finally old enough to get excited about it too.
It was the most exciting Christmas of my childhood. They're memories that will last a lifetime. Thanks so much for posting this!
This reminds me, I have commercials from this same exact show from Christmas 2000. Unfortunately thyey're not as exciting as these...or @ least not to my knowledge :-/
@barber747 Well, you can argue that no boy would have played with legos if not for the commercials. Girls didn't play with them because they weren't marketed to.
Yay! Yeah I think advertisers don't always realize that girls enjoy playing with these things too. And like I said before, if girls were actually marketed to, they might see more of a result. ;)

Why were the Legomaniacs always boys? heh
::shivers:: Where's Waldo used to give me the creeps for some reason, lol.
I can't believe how many of these commercials I remember, like the York Peppermint Patties one.

@Heralde8 I was a girl and I still played with my lego table, that probably puts me in the minority then.
