My Pokemon journey started in Hoenn when I played my first pokemon game, Ruby when I was 10. Then it was off to Sinnoh, through Platinum, when I was 12 then later Johto and Kanto in Heartgold, by then I was 14. 15 years of age, I'm in Unova in my White version.

If this had happened in real life, it will be the greatest journey I ever had! :)

didnt like gen III very much. except for the fact that it introduced blaziken, salamence, sceptile, and milotic. all of those have spots on my teams. I liked Gen IV better hahaha. Gen II and it's remakes were my favorites. Having two zones to explore was awesome

Anyway gen IV introduced the best/most charming Pokemon. Not only that it made many previously pretty useless Pokemon (Misdreavus, Murkrow, Tangela, Togetic, Sneasel, maybe Piloswine) much more useful.

@TheJordanMunoz If a franchise never "evolved", if you will, then people would lose interest. I can honestly say that while Red Blue and Yellow certainly hold very nostalgic value for me and I'm sure many others, I personally like the generation much less than the newer ones, simply because they were very rough around the edges and the Pokemon have grown old. I'm not saying Gen I was bad, it's simply older and less fresh, leading to disinterest for myself personally. In my opinion, of course :P
