40 mgs and i'm asleep for 10 hours. i don't view it as addictive the same way opiates are addictive. that said, it would be hard to sleep without it...although soma works just as well.

You can use it. Just take it responsibly and if you feel you NEED to take them... then stop for a couple weeks to get your tolerance down. Never take more then 20mg at a time and if yu need more then that..... you'll have some withdraw. Dont let it get there and take em responsibly. Like drinking!

Lorazepam is stronger per mg than diazepam. Lorazepam is nice. I take clonazepam, 1mg twice daily. 0.5mg alprazolam is equiv. to 0.25mg clonazepam. 1mg of lorazepam is equiv. to 1mg of alprazolam. Check out benzodiazepine equivalency charts, search on google.

@ERICKV94 That really is tough and while i don't know what you're life is all about i can tell you a thing or two about depression and anxiety. It might not sound important especially at 14 but make sure to eat right, whole grains, lots of fruits and veggies, surround yourself with good people, don't smoke or use drugs/alcohol obviously. and you should workout to the max to keep your self esteem up and health. 14 is tough but if you make the right choices now you can avoid major problems.

Kudos, Adrienne, for educating people on this most dangerous drug. I have been placed on diazapam several times, but it never helped. I can take 50mg of diazapam at once and feel no effects at all. But many people become addicted immediately and go through hell getting off of it.

good demonstration. i really need some atm and my conservative doctor wouldnt prescribe it to me :( i have had anxiety for the past year and an anxiety attack every day for the past two weeks twice a day.. he didnt prescribe it because he doesn't believe in the use of benzo's... its rediculous im going to have to see another doctor i cant take the stress anymore
