I pretty much do the same when I'm button mashing, the only difference is that I put my thumb on the button I need to mash on and mash on the thumb. Don't know if it helps or not but one thing is sure: It will kill your thumb.

i think mine is as fast as yours maybe faster im not sure but i set the controller on my lap and take both of my index fingers and do the same flexing proccess but with split second timing the second i release the button with one the other finger presses it again and i got like 107 taps in 4 seconds. it gives the impression that the button never actually gets relased but it does.

im a drummer, but what i do is press the button with my thumb while rocking the controller with my other hand on the 'off beat' of my thumb, using this technique, i transfer half the work across both arms, so i dont tire as fast and is always fast enough as it essentially doubles my button mashing speed. You have to have good timing tho, which I got from drumming.

I use this technique sometimes too, another way to do it that strains your arm less is to put your thumb and index finger together a lot like you did here, but instead of getting your arm twitching, you drag your index finger over the button from left to right in rapid speed, the downside of course is that you may hit a diffrent button if you're a bit too clumbsy. But at least it's one way to do it.

That's the same button mashing technique I've used for awhile too when my thumb reflex started to diminish.

This may have been mentioned in a previous comment (or upgraded your camera by now), your camera has a dead pixel showing throughout the video, bro. Pause at around 0:04 and look at the top-left portion of the left analog stick.

In fighting game a button masher it's basicly someone who's for exemple cornered , and while he's in *block string* for exemple .. he simply mash every button to get out of the situation.Since he has no idea how to get out of that *x* situation.Online(sf4) you rezognize them when you eat a shoryuken in the middle of a combo that's blocked for exemple.Because the masher just smash the button while in block stun.
