A fantastic collection. I can see you have taken care of them. One small piece of advice when touching these models you should wear gloves because of the acid we release from our hands in the sweat. There is a lot of money in your collection, maybe your grandson(s) might take an interest in the collection, or maybe give a few to a toy museum with the condition that your name is always displayed., whatever you decide this is worth a lot, so be careful how you sell.

What a tragedy!!! don't sell them they need to be in a meuseum. For all generations to enjoy, if you have financial concerns then allow the museum help you out but this would be a great thing to put a small town on the map and generate revenue from either donations or ticket sales from visitors.
