Es gibt eine Studioaufnahme von dem Song die ich vergeblich suche. Man hört wie sie die Stühle rücken, den Verkehr durch das offene Fenster und ein paar Leute die sich im Studio im Hintergrund unterhalten. Nichts davon stört die Stimmung des Songs, eine unglaubliche Leichtigkeit.

She had a sultry & raspy voice but there's just something about Ms Billie's vocals, Not like any other voice i can capture with such emotion and range. Love this song and especially the way she sings it. Thank you for the videos. Totally Classic
@719kai719 She sings so, because it is her own song. And this is a Version maybe 20 Years after first Recording. I like it very much too. For me is BH the Greatest. But take a look to Anita O' Day. She's very well too and was a funny Person (Tip: Live in Tokyo '63)
Its kinda sad that the most of my generation dislike something like this. I mean, listening to that pop crap and saying that this is shit?! That voice, that emotion - incredible!

I feel the same, but: Don't despair, even today there are rays of light: 2007's BIOSHOCK game (a pretty morbid and bloody if somewhat artsy experience btw) did a beautiful thing by bringing a whole lot of wonderfull music to an unprepared new audience. This particular song being the featured one. There is a lot of enthusiastic response to the bioshock soundtrack on utube and elswhere. God bless Billie!
I've been a friend to go to when people were in need. Now that I am in need, noone comes around, nor even talks to me. When I was partying nightly and buying drinks, I went over my minutes on my cell phone every month. Now that I am in need, I have roll over minutes. Whoever invented karma, was probably a moocher. They wanted someone to give them something and not expect repayment in return. Everyone has a hustle. I am wiser, much wiser now.
