adige shapsug: if you mean the circle that the adige men are dancing. You are wrong my dearest. The real adige dance in a circle round the bride...this we call the adigecircle..in Turkey, most adigepeople do not dance like this. But if you see even in maikop they do..this is an old tradition..selam
the adiga dancing is very good, but why do they add turkish things???i am disapointed, when we have such great dances our selves why do we go and add this trash?

simple logic, just like all other dances, every name got a meaning, adygs used to dance once called "Ha Kuak" means "dog's movements", and this is shshan means "horse character" and some say "shoushan" means "horseman character"
well to all of you who don't know this dance, it is not "cecen" nor "chechen" dance, chechens don't dance like this, this adyga "Shishan" dance, it sounds like more "Sh-Shan" it means horse behavior, or horse character
