I am in the process of buying a home and have become frustrated because I feel that my real estate agent is doing something that is preventing me from getting the homes that I choose. I am interested in a townhouse that does not need repairs and have seen several that were completly renovated with new everything and I am being told that other buyers submitted higher bids and therefore were given the homes. Is it legal? I think my agent has something to do with this.
thats the problem with haters and business when people see how much money the middle man they complain but that same hater wouldnt say anything if they didnt know anything------wow jealousy and haters are a bitch
Yes, the market is tough. Yes, there are unscrupulous people in every profession. Searching via deck criteria is available to every agent and to clients who work with them. Taxi service is available to clients who have been prequalified by the majority of agents. Careful with low ball offers. Many people have reduced and reduced possibly to not even breaking even. A contract to buy is exactly that. Be very careful about being told to write too many at one time.
Since you can approve what goes into your comment section I doubt this will get posted.
Your service is nothing short of common. Every person needs to research their realtor prior to putting themselves a buyer agreement or agency. Being in business for 4 years is not a company I would select to use. Especially one that has to disparage other agents to try to gain cliental. Most realtors are honest and hold true to the code of Ethics and drive clients around to help educate them in the mean time
I think you are misleading clients. Most agents do not get bonuses. In Texas the agents I know dont' get $50K bonuses. Yes there are unethical agents & Realtors. Don't put ides in the publics eye that we don't put their interest first. Do you make money off of your site- for your "opinion"
Not every real estate agent is a REALTOR®. The word REALTOR® is a registered trademark of the National Association of REALTORS®. It denotes membership, not industry. Not every real estate agent is a REALTOR®. Not every REALTOR® is a real estate agent. If someone claims to be a REALTOR®, ask for the membership card.
LOL, I would like to meet the realtor that will show their buyers 200+ 3/2/2's in the price range of $200,000. There is no way you can or will show your buyer 100% of the market. If it takes that long for a buyer to make a decision, then they are not ready to buy to begin with.
Realtors get paid for the knowledge in contracting and negotiations skills just like a lawyer, if you found the house on the mls the seller has a realtor on their side, dealing in that situation is like representing yourself on murder trial.
this is not true, Realtors are Paid on commission, manipulation skills and are not real estate attorneys. They have no where near the education an attorney has.
Yes, thankfully realtors didn't have to go through the drudging years of law school, and yet make double what a lawyer would in a transaction. And RE lawyers (not realtors) are the REAL manipulators.
If you are buying a home without a realtor you are an idiot, a don't know how this guy gets full mls access without a realtor, buyers don't pay commissions! and he is basing his whole case a a few bad apples? give me a brake, i am not a realtor but i work very close to them, don't waste your money and time with this guy. Have a proffesional help you.
A good and smart agent will know how to protect a commission. I believe that it is up to the consumer to become educated & select agents who are ethical. The problem in the real estate industry are not only because of less than ethicial agent but also a loss of morality or interity among some in this country who feel that it is okay to hurt or use anyone-if they benefit from it. The only problem with this video it only offers one view point and offer creditablity to consumers.
What's unethical is that agents select what homes they want to show their clients, and often don't show homes where they may not make as much money - especially homes being sold by newer discount agencies (i.e. 1% real estate). The shame is on the real estate agents for not telling their clients that they are not showing 100% of the market. My realtor did that to me, when I found out, I told him - GOOD BYE!
I like your video but the first couple minutes about how Realtors are motivated about "commission to selling agent" is ridiculous. You do say, 'a few bad apples', but as a Realtor, any Realtor, subscribes to the Code of Ethics of the N.A.R. and places client interest first. I think you are placing a seed in the consumer's mind of negativity in the market place just to toot your own horn. Assuming you are a NAR member, shame on you for making us look bad.

It does not matter if a Realtor is honest or not, NAR does not hold dis-honest Realtors accountable. Researching a Realtor will not help.

All agents have a motive for one house over another. This is Fact as far as I can see, consumers deserve to know the truth.

Yes I agree with you.
Realtors should live under the bridge, drive you around for free and eat and drink water. Ah yes.
