AT&T U-Verse High Speed Internet Pro 3.0Mbps

My AT&T internet connection makes me want to put my head through a wall. Sometimes after I download something big, AT&T will turn off my internet connection. No joke.

@cubby1996 AT&T doesn't just turn your connection off because you just downloaded something. You have what sounds like a connection problem. I've had this issue in the past, after running something like a netflix movie, where it's consistently downloading for quite awhile, the second it goes idle the connection drops - that was an issue with the line, the modem was just doing what it could to sustain the connection while it was being used, then the second it got a break it dropped.

@gusherb94 if this is just a problem with our connection (and this has been going on for years), why haven't any of the people that came by to fix our connection ever fix this? I'm just tired of it, even if there is a solution, it's too late. We're going to switch service providers very soon.

@cubby1996 It took me 3 technicians before someone fixed my problem with my line, and that was with me having to steer them in the right direction and share alot of my own troubleshooting data with them. They don't really bother looking for anything more then just the obvious unless you really get on them, so I wouldn't be surprised if there is an issue that many technicians may have overlooked while being at your premises. It could even be your own inside wiring that was causing the issue.

ok im here to clear things up. I have att uverse and yes i do have the 3 mbps speed. the speed test is accurate BUT!!!!! att says that downloads are not considered part of their advertised speed...so to make things easier to understand...if you get this internet service, your download speed will be 356KBps MAX!. it is absolutely horrible. everything else about uverse is awesome but their internet sucks

FIOS is way better, getting 35mbps down and 35 up, smokes att uverse. Sorry

I hate AT&T U-Shit, i got pro, and it sucks! Only get 1.45MB downlink and 0.55 uplink! and it sucks when my dad is streaming some shit on youtube, and im playing a online game!! SUCKS, I want Max turbo!

my high speed dsl download speed is 5.48 and upload is .69..that's way better

It's nice when you have your own direct line speed. No sharing bandwith with whole neighborhood.
