He and I were just visiting on the street afterward, quite casually, and I asked him to simply speak into my camera, no interview, no preset questions or topics, he could say whatever he wanted. I simply turned off the camera at the end of his statement. So what you see there is simply what he felt like saying at the time, very sincere and enthusiastic.

On the one hand, as the man seems genuine albeit over-excited, I would not label him a phony; on the other, as his excitment, again, is so over the top, he is a tad embarassing to watch and hear. Perhaps, as someone said already, he needs focus, a good channel to funnel his energy into. He might also consider putting a gag in his mouth on occaissions; don't always let your EVERY feeling be known.

it depends on where you live -- in florida nobody gets benefits. about 48% of the population doesn't have adequate insurance according forbes --the "conservative" media. it was kind of surprising but not that much -- that heavy red states like texas and most of the southeast are also the states with over 1/3 of their population uninsured. a big part of the republican platform is "states rights" -- so people can benefit from not insuring their employees.

I worked my way through a four year university. I was smart enough to realize that the crummy jobs I had in school were just to get me through to graduation. I never asked for anything, worked hard, and now 11 years later all my loans are paid off and I'm very stable financially. All without Uncle Sam. Get to work Julio!
