If you can get a way to push the pig that is meant for food OUT of the cart, you can build a fire where it will land, giving you a cooked chop as a drop instead of raw. Point being: kill an animal with fire and you get cooked meat.

if you kill a pig you will get about 2 pieces of food, and that is way better then 2 piece of meat, it is supposed to be a long term sulution you breed upp a couple of kid maybbe 12 and when they are full grown you kill them and breed a new flock. Atleast i am realy happy about this uppgrade to the game it is real big addition to farming

what if you used pumpkins or melons as timers? they take about 10 minutes to grow right? and the block they produce could activate redstone. if you made a system that turned stems 'on' by moving a block over it, you could extend the time it could go without retilling the soil, this might be a way to create a cooldown light. what do you think?

I had a similar idea except that the baby animals would go into a pez like dispenser underneath in which you stack them in storage until they become old enough to consume, however the cool down time on the parents too ruined that idea which is unfortunate.

I'm actually fairly impressed someone else had the incest idea tbh. I guess great minds do think alike (and often about inbreeding apparently). But I have something overkilled planned with lots of options and redstone mechanics. Just doing some research on entity saved caps to see how far I can push the whole dispenser/looped track idea. Would be pointless to do something with say 300 animals if the game only holds up to 100 upon exiting.
