Cool. I don't listen to the radio (or watch VH-1/MTV), so this is the first time I heard this. I liked her, the song and the production :-) I'm "old" (born in 1956), black, and was raised in "the states", so I can hear all the influences. Doesn't bother me at all. In fact, her singing vocal/style reminds me more of Bonnie Raitt or Dolly Parton (i.e. a "soulful" female, country-western singer), than Aretha Franklin. Anyways, I likes her "a lots" :-)
