Firstly, when people wonder why conservative and moreover christian views are becoming less relevant to people, they would just have to watch this to understand. Society has changed since the 1800's and if conservative christians or christians in general want to remain relevant in America, views need to be changed ! Archaic customs like this really turn people off to conservative beliefs

Fun story, but the acting could use some help, it made the whole piece slow down and drag.
The introduction to the story was a little full of exposition that wasn't needed. If you had started with the add and gone straight to the doorbells (with perhaps a stop with her reaction to the idea), it would have been awesome.
Show, don't tell. Once we see the nice looking guy in the suit, we don't need the talking. Cut it.
Great movie - Made me laugh. The guy who is looking for the pretty girl that can cook - priceless. Took a while before I could decipher it, but "John Calvin voted Man of the Millennium" also made laugh. Obviously, the Methodists weren't voting. Were only the informed (or is that reformed)allowed to vote? And last, but not least, nice library!
