Dead Island - won't start (F**K!) Quick fix, By Stanbony

i tried this and it didnt work, this is the only fix i can find and from what ive heard in comments alot of other people r having the same problem can anyone help?

A dialogue box still pops up that says Dead Island has stopped working, Windows is looking for the error. It still doesn't work and I have no clue of what needs to be done.

@TheOriginalDoUs Same here. I look everywhere and the only fix I find is the "En" which I did and it still doesn't work. If you find a solution please tell me.

You actually have to go in and manually install Direct X and two other things because the installer failed to do so automatically. After that, it worked perfectly.

Hey Stan. On the subject of games not starting have you tried Killing Floor recently. I haven't been able to start it and everything i have looked at so far gave me solutions that don't work. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Dead island was a glitchie ass game from the start. From what I understand, a lot of people have problems with it.

@stanbony Main reason was a beta was uploaded to steam on release. But they updated it a few days later lol.
