  • wtf mrizo...your net have mcafee protection

  • in the " Events" list do i also delete the items with the exclamation mark beside it? i got alot of them in events list! all with blue exclamation marks in circles on the left. i only found one Malware detection in there so far. but i got rid of it. but PC still buzzing alot.

  • I think the best Anti-Virus programs are ESET, and Avira.

  • @alansam6 wrong! the best is Eset and Norton

  • @thepredatorwinner

Norton has it's own trojans along with the program itself so It can show you how it can delete the trojans. Most of the time Norton fails at catching the viruses. And I found the best ones anyway, it's not Avira it's ESET and Microsoft Security Essentials. I don't where you got the idea of Norton being good.

  • @alansam6 i have ESET Smart Security 4 and it doesn't show you threats just blocking em instead of norton it rarely fails at catching so ESET and NORTON are BEST microsoft is little best but not preffered

  • @alansam6 and the oldest nortons sucked but now the new nortons example 2009 2010 etc doesn't sucks same evrey antiviruses was old and sucked now it added new protections new so no problems abput norton and other.Essentials doesn't show you antivirus, antipsyware etc.

  • @thepredatorwinner

Whatever man. I had the 2010 version and it sucked hard. In fact it didn't do anything at all! I had to go to a computer repair shop to get my computer clear from trojans and viruses because Norton didn't do crap. It just warned me and that's it. In fact the Computer Repairer couldn't find the problem until he found Norton. He said Norton was part of the problem and recommended Microsoft Security Essentials. But whatever, man we all have our opinions.

  • @alansam6 aw man you download crashes files, and virus makers and norton didn't found it that's all and essentials just killing viruses blocks same norton but not much

  • @thepredatorwinner

    Once again, whatever man.

  • omg umbrella corp!!

  • On 4:15 youre right about your mic.

I got my headphones on nerly highest to hear you!

    But you rocks anyways!

  • Can't hear a shit man! talk louder

  • Is Avira (paid version) better than Kaspersky (paid version)?

  • Nope. Paid version doesn't have alot of stuff the free doesn't.

  • Yeah I know that and I think kaspersky is better than Avira. I just wanted to ask Matt

  • --- ok

  • Avira Free Edition is better than Kaspersky paid version

  • @adythekiller In prevention not!, in removal yes.

I am using Kaspersky Internet security 2010 and Firefox with WOT and Browser Defender as my browser, so I never get infected

  • why does avira take 2 hours just to scan my system

  • Try emptying your temporary folder.

    1. Open up CMD

    2. Type in: start %temp% and hit enter.

    3. Delete everything u see in that folder.

One of my friends had 70GBs of useless crap there :D

    Hope this helps.

  • the biger size of your drive the longer it takes, and also depends on how much files you have.

  • no u sita

  • didnt they use to advertise pcprivacy cleaner on youtube?

  • nope :P

youtube doesnt advertise software, (besides chrome woooot)

  • fuck avira

  • fucking fanboys e_e

  • shut up

  • i used avg and when i scanned my pc with avira i found over 300 viruses dude

  • @Perfym orly but no pertection against rootkits only paid version but avira PLUS malwarebytes PLLLLUS sandboxie is insta pertection

  • lol anti-drive by

  • can i have avira antivirus, avast antivirus and spybot S&D at the same time?

  • no only 1 antivirus and spybot s d is fine

  • AVG sucks.... Avira rules...

  • @ryebin022 AVG sucks Avira sucks Nod32 rules and norton rules

  • Is the free version of avira any good?

  • dont use it mess up my pc and knock the internet off and woulnt let me unistall so i had to go in safe mode and downlod a unisrall program to get it off dont use the guys on her that say its good are probally part of the scam this is not a joke man im 4 real dont use this

  • you maybe downloaded the fake verision!!!!!

i got the free verision and its work fine!!

  • @chucktaylor974 LIER i use avira and theres no "scams" so you lier and the only antivirus i knew untill like 5 weeks ago was avast, avgand thats pretty much it

  • omfg this program removed tones of stuff eset nod32 missed including 2 entries of a keylogger...Yea... And then I went to the firewall logs in nod32 and there was like 10k+ hacker attempts. I just uninstalled nod32, better get me comodo! *DAMN*

  • to angelofdeath1003848 he uses vmware

  • Comment removed

  • I downloaded Avira and it thinks nearly every single .exe I have is a virus. Ridiculous.

  • It's a decent antivirus, but it is known to produce a lot of false positives.

  • What virtual system program do you use?

  • avira antivirus is the 2nd highest antivirus in the world it helps super super alot!

  • i have worked with a computer with 55000 virusses. all of them were exploits. and avira delete them all an the computer works again

  • Liar, 55000 viruses...

  • yep, it where all songs from limewire, exploits, all of them where the same and where 4kb

  • ...w/e

  • dont forget malware bytes anti malware

  • superantispyware pro+avira+theatfire+comodo firewall r the best combination

  • That's one Hell of a STRONG combination! Damm dude, U must not EVER get viruses!

  • @Idolpurist wut about a simple one like mbam+avira and sandboxie? thats a simple one to figure out

  • Sandboxie alone is enough to protect you. Avira added on is slight overkill. Adding MBAM at that point is just a waste. Sandboxing is Matt's fav way to go.

  • @Idolpurist eh atleast im doing way farther then overkill cuz malwarebytes dectected a rouge but i dont see it on my system so i scaned with avira, nothing

  • @snowsnowthesnowman MBAM must have removed it. Truth is, Avira and MOST anti-viruses have a hard time detecting many Rogues. MBAM specializes in it.

  • @Idolpurist if its REALLY a rouge wouldnt it be bothering me? its not bothering me

  • @snowsnowthesnowman : As I sed, MBAM removed it. What MBAM prob removed was either the Rogues Installer or some Trace of the Rogue.

If U want, download Superantispyware Free and do a Full Scan. I don't think it will find anything.I think your system is clean.

  • @Idolpurist i never even HAD a rouge before and i saw no popups and thanks for the tip but i like my combo of avira and mbam and sandboxie incase my dad surfs on a hijacked site without sandboxie

  • @Idolpurist orrrrr.... usb wormsincase my mom gives me it so the email spamming bot comes to MY computer

  • That's what I do bro

  • this is avira antivir, not bit defender

  • Comment removed

  • i have avira premium and it is the best

  • is it OK to have avira and spyware doctor with antivirus (antivirus is ON in spyware doctor) both running at the same time ?!

  • BITDEFENDER-THE BEST A PC CAN GET!

  • Bitdefender is not the best, GDATA is

  • Idk,I have bitdefender and it is very good.Nothing broke into my computer.

  • but GDATA detects 99.8% of the malware.

  • avast or avg.or even windows live one care

  • It worked so well I had a bad Trojan I installed this and it deleted instantly thanks Avira!

  • which 1 better? avira or kaspersky?

  • I thinks both are better, but thats just my opinion.

  • There is some confusion in the review, since Avira personal does not have extensive spyware coverage, only the premium and security suite versions. The only two free AVs that I know that offer on-access AND on-demand anti-spyware coverage are Avast! and AVG, with Avast! having anti-rootkit, but no heuristics, only generic signatures for proactive detection.

  • The cool thing about Avira, is that it uses the bleeping from your PC self!

Even if you don't have speakers, ETC. it still let you now you have a virus!

    AVIRA I LOVE U!!!

  • Vampire something is wrong with there update service , mine quit working 24 hours ago..What a bummer , oh well going to buy Kas in the morning and forget all the free chit...

  • I downloaded antivir 2 days qago and have tried everything and it still wont update. it says error . also some shit on note pad says windows 2000 and xp Download a current software pack from the downoad section of the Avira AntiVir Personal website . what in the blue hell is a software pack? theres nothing on avira website called a software pack. some body help me with this cock suck of a product please

  • I know i've asked this before but how do you get the viruses on the virtual machine? I've always wanted to do that on my VMware

  • thanks :)

  • how do i change the language from german to english cause i have a copy but it's in german

  • install the english version

  • i have 1 question , must i click on delet or on the first one it callt wuaratine or whatever

  • Doesn't Matter

If you put it in Quarintine

You can Delete It there so

    I doesn't really Matter.

  • i used to use avg but it had so many damn problems , it would work fine for a bit but then it wouldnt update no matter how many times i tried , then i would have to reinstall it and it would keep saying that the download failed , finally i got sick of it and i downloaded avira

  • the old version from 2005 was very good, but the new one uses too many comp resources. But it is still a very good software

  • Im sorry who would watch an ungodly amount of reviews? And I couldn't get avira to tell something I use that it wasn't a virus. I asked on the forums but someone said I had to contact avira to tell them something was a false positive, then they might allow it, if I begged enough. Help?

  • rootkit=???

  • Hidden File on your computer=Root-kit

If you use a Anti-Virus with out a Root-kit detection built in I would recommend GMER Anti-Root-kit or Sophos Anti-Root-kit

    Both Great Products!

I would Recommend Avira Anti-Vir Great product,Great Anti-Virus and Detection Rate and Built in Root-kit Detecion

  • avira sucks i have avira and every time i scaned may computer he says i hav no viruser but after a year i get TROJAN and when i scan my computer trojan is not removet soo i remoov avira and instal nod 32 and nod 32 removed the virus nod 32 is good (sorry for may bad language i am from romania)

  • Uh Oh...you have a rootkit.

  • @mrizos what does rootkit doing?

  • a rootkit just gets rid of certain viruses get their actual product to get the anti-virus!

  • A rootkit is usually completely hidden from the running OS (or antivirus for that matter). Rootkits usually open up a remote port for remote admin capabilities.

Here is a sign that you are infected with a rootkit:

    1. You Delete a virus...it gets successfully deleted

    2. Minutes later the virus reappears.

    Hope that helps.

  • I know I misused words lol I was thinking of one of those programs that avira hides in their download sections that you can get and it removes certain viruses like bankers

I downloaded one before but it was deleted for some reason and I forgot where I got it lol

  • No, I left this machine on a unprotected cable network for about 2 months.

  • The fake programs said avira wasspyware lol

  • i kno haha

  • kaspersky ftw

  • YA! finnanly

  • mat ?!#!#!@#
