you need to connect the pc and xbox together so if they could both plug in to your router then that would work

aren't you a bit pisst off that we here in the UK don't get the same services media center users get in the states, its not fare after all we over here are spending our money buying microsoft products as well, why aren't they "microsoft" do more or am i barking up the wrong three or is it the providers over here is doing enough to support media center users

you don't need a tv tuner if you want to stream movies and music. the tuner is just for recording TV

And also would a media center extender still work if i don't have a tv tuner because i have fios tv which would require me to rent a cable card in order to get the tv shows to go to the computer. I just want a media extender for my movies and music already on the comp. will it work?
