Halo CE / 1 was such a success is because it was revolutionary, and Halo keeps revolutionizing gaming with things like Forge and theater mode. So many people like Halo because it isn't like other FPSs. I'm not saying other FPSs are bad I just like Halo's style better. There are lots of games out there with better graphics, more dynamic gameplay, etc, but I believe style is everything. Bungie loves and listens to their fans, and that's another reason why I think Halo's such a success.

lets be honest. Halo will always be boring. the game isn't even exciting at all! not even fun. the multiplayer is just addicting. fanboys of HALO are just plain addicted to the multiplayer. I played HALO 3 ODST and just HALO 3 b4 but the multiplayer was just really boring.

i don't know much about MW2 fanboys but MW2 is a great game and it has a great multiplayer system and the campaign has a better story. gameplay is amazing as well.

They're branching off of the WWII series and starting the "modern warfare" series. Its considered MW2 because its the second in the new modern warfare call of duties. There hasn't even been a Call of Duty 5, only a WaW. So yes there is a difference between CoD 6 and MW2.
