i did it i 1.06 on my little sisters barbie big-wheel. and i was blindfolded. pretty happy i pulled out that backflip on the big drop in the middle though.

There is no way you got anywhere near that time! Rowan Sorrel won last years dragon downhill with 2:58 so i doubt you did nearly half that! Even on the longer red run (shown) i would be surprised if you got much under 3 minutes.

I don't think you can get a DH bike for 400 quid (correct me if I am wrong), thats the price of entrance level XC and dirt jump bikes. You can ride XC hardtails down the DH track at cwmcarn though. I have done but it wasnt good for my bike (makes some interesting noises now) and I crashed a few times. If you havent done mtb before I would reccomend starting by riding XC then if you find you like technical descents start riding DH as well.

well, i went there to do the cropss country, but my mate i went with sed have a go, and he was riding a kona scrap dirt jumper, so yeh, if you want, you can try, but doing it regularly will ruin your bike, also it will not be comfortable

most dh tracks are full of big drops and rough terrain, and so probs arent suitable for a DJ bike. Cwmcarn is really smooth though, so if u took it easy, theres no reason why you couldnt ride it. You d be a LOT quicker on a DH bike tho:)
