anyway, Goldfrapp is such a good act, they can afford to mess up every now and then. have you ever heard Lady Gaga or Madonna singing live? They're bloody awful.

I guess this blows that whole Goldfrapp lipsync's shows myth. Alison's a pro. Only a real singer could make it through the curse of bad audio engineer. She has an amazing voice, she really proves it at the end. I love her now even more.

@moni1que why does it disprove a myth? isnt it possible that people mime some parts of songs and not others? i know for a fact that alison uses some help on train because one video where the backdrop was falling down and de-flating she stopped singing and took the mic away from her mouth but her voice was in the background on the high notes, sometimes alison sings over her own voice, but she doesnt have backing singers (angie does some, sometimes) like some people do - so its ok

@snowball1988 I dont get why she uses backing vocals during some parts of train (Head First era). I've bought Wonderful electric dvd and she didnt use backing vocals :( and she was singing so good

@marianogh Well her voice has deterioated a bit over time. Hitting those highs seven years ago has damaged her vocals a bit nowadays so she has backing track to support her and her budget got slashed this era (back then she could afford backing singers & more band members) so backing track was the only option or else she's be losing money even with sold-out venues or resort to over-priced tickets.
