This is my favorite castle music out of all the Dragon Quests. The piano version is just as good as the symphonic suite one.

It's at about 1:00 in that Koichi Sugiyama shows why he's the best video game composer there is. I love Koji Kondo and Nobou Uematsu, but after writing the melody they don't play with the music like Koichi Sugiyama does. At 1:00 in most anyone would start to get repetitive and boring. Koichi Sugiyama takes a very simple melody and turns it into something very complex and interesting while sticking to the same theme. He's really incredible to listen to.
