thanks to tom delonge, i now know that timmy curran is a great musician. Tom Delonge of AVA mentioned him in one of his videos in which he picked top some top albums! This song is great.
I have some surf buddies, one without an attractive car but it holds boards well, anyway, I had an opportunity to listen to some nice songs and was hooked while driving around looking for wind or waves...
Saw Timmy for the first time last Friday at La Paloma in Encinitas. Timmy has tightened up his band ten-fold since this video. They got a standing "o" and deserved it. After only three songs, I whispered to my husband, "I think I found my new favorite band". Brought his CD to work today and everyone loved it. I work with Casey Gee of Escalera, another band to check out. They opened for Timmy on Friday and kicked butt. All of these guys are going places with their music, just you wait.
i think i might have the very first photo ever of timmy posing with his guitar, at 16 yrs. old .. he had just learned his first two or three chords at the time... what a blessing from the Lord, his music, his surfing, his passion for Jesus ... in case you didn't know, he is a Christian to the bone.
