shame the sounds of the aircraft dont sound like the real thing espeically in a fly past, play FSX with a spitfire then go and see the real thing you will know, probably because they had to inbed it into the game and the sound changed? i dunno lol if they could somehow get the recordings (which i think they do) and it sounds exactly the same as the real life aircraft then FSX would just be superb, basically for me the sound lets any Flight Sim down.

IF you like WWII planes you should play Aces High II its Pay to Play but you get a Free 2 Week trial and its awesome. If FSX looks that good on your PC then Aces High II will look just as good its a really good WWII Flight/Vehicle/Naval Sim. Mostly Flight

nice video as always and looks like a pretty good product however i wont be purchasing this seeing as the real air spitfire is so much better and there are better hurricanes and messerschmitts out there. Also sorry but i had to pick out that your spitfire landing was wrong, you never land a tail dragger front wheels first, you must always try your hardest to touch all 3 wheels at the same time otherwise you could topple the aircraft.. anyway cool videos :D

Hello, yesterday i downloaded the just flight Me 109 with the discount code and i paid £16.99 instead of £19.99, wich was great, thanks. But i have to say that the Me 109 by A2A is much more detailed in terms of cockpit and general textures, the engine sound though is not too bad, sounds quite authentic. Test this type of Aircraft in a Combat Flight Simulator like the Microsoft CFS 3 or IL2 because the aerodinamics in a combat aircraft is too diferent like a comercial aircraft

You should be aware of the BF109's cockpit. Although the model and cockpit itself does look good, the cockpit itself is slightly below the standards of its Spitfire and Hurricane brothers and the A2A fighters, with it being slightly on a lower polygon count. Still, all three aircraft are equally enjoyable, with the cockpit issues aside.

the virtual cockpits look very impressive!And the animations and exterior detail are amazing.Just to ask you,have you ever heard of the il-2 Sturmovik 1946 game?It is made for pc,and is based on world war 2.The flight dynamics and realism is so much greater.It has a crash engine too,makes this game amazing.If you havent heard of that game i suggest you should check it out.I think you would like it.Birds of Prey was crap though for the consoles.1946 is the best one.

Beautiful review, thanks for doing it, I think Just Flight usually offers a trial period, so I might check these out. From experience, Just Flight makes good models, I'm very happy with the Duchess I got, though it a little too much power.

If you are interested in classic warbirds, the one I truly recommend is the Real Air Simulations Spitfire, as usual, the flight dynamics of RAS planes are top of the line, and from a pilots perspective the RAS Spitfire, does not disapoint.

with regards to project open sky's great models, among others, most freeware aircraft come with cut - and - pasted panels, or just copied panels from default planes, and no virtual cockpit

@Cessna154 With regards to the Hurricane, the Hurricane is actually either just as fast or maybe even faster than the Spitfire and BF 109, and both the Hurricane and the Spitfire can outmaneuver and outrun the BF 109. The BF 109 (I know some call it ME 109 but BF 109 was its proper name) had a lot of crashes from failures and on takeoff/landing, and on top of combat loss it was pretty horrendous for its record.  The Spitfire/Hurricane were upgraded but the BF 109 wasn't as the war went on.

Hey Cessna, I have a very serious question. Ive had FSX for about 3 years this summer. I love it, cant wait for the new FLIGHT but just this summer the game would have a "Fatal Error" When it tried to start up. I uninstalled, reinstalled, same thing. Tried removing the service packs, nothing, moved my "add on's" out of the game so it would be all default, nothing, any help would be awesome! Thanks love the show

@Reviewsofthedude I had the same problem about 6 months ago when I'm using Windows XP. I also tried to reinstall and remove all FS containment in my Hard drive, but it also didn't work. My suggestion is to reinstall your OS or even upgrade to a newer version. Because when I upgraded my PC to Windows 7, my FS works fine as usual and got no problem until now.
