@asianmacker, I don't know if this really is or not, but I can say it's not entirely pointless. It's team building, you have to trust your partner. It's conquering fears, you have to climb a ladder that isn't fully deployed yet. It's showing drive. You have to perform well, and want to excel. It shows all the A-types and weeds out the others. You want someone who's there because they want to be. Not because they think they want to be. People die because of fear and "I think".
