i need some help and this video will help a bit more

  • this is an advertisment...I have to agree they have a great picture and good sound.

But quality ? I've been fixing tv's for many years, nothing is built like the old sets. take a look at some of the videos here on youtube about old tv's. I watched a video of an RCA color tv made in 1956, they turned it on and it still works. These old sets were very high quality and made to last a long time.

  • i guess the idiot in this video doesn't relize the concept of "you get what you pay for"

  • What's up robot lady!!! Anyways, we just got the 55" Vizio Lcd 120hz blah blah and I must say, the picture is among the best I've ever seen. As long as you sit right in front of it.

  • Don't buy a Vizio! Cheap disposable TV! Not designed to last more than 2 years, there's a reason they're cheap. Mine stopped working for no reason, Would cost over $1000 to fix it.

I'm going to stop being cheap and buy a real TV now.

You get what you pay for

  • @terrylordy i have a vizio that was made in January of '07 and its still running great p.s. i treat it like crap

  • If you go to BestBuy or Walmart they have all the TVs set up you can tell the quality is way better on vizio. better colors, picture is way smoother, and colors are more robust. its also the #1 selling TV in United States.

  • vizio is the shit. thier TVs beat most everyone else. philips, panasonic and all them suck. except for ones like sony's bravia and samsung's plasmas, those blow everyone else out the water.

  • @sirMAXX77 my friend got a 55in sony bravia and it destroys my 55in LG

  • @XeNioNzHD sony bravia is the best

  • Well said, I have a 42"plasma 720p I owned for 2 years and still is good, also just bought a 37"lcd 1080p for my mom new for $450.00 otd!!!I just bought a 47"vizio model v047l lcd 1080p for $Amazing price plus tax at Sams Club clearance item, unbelievable!!!My brother has an Olevia line 47"lcd for two years and is fantastic!!!

  • Vizeo is a grabe B screen no matter how it looks it is a lower grade compared to that of a Sony,Samsung, and etc brands

  • I can honestly say vizio is one of the better brands. I've had my tv for about 4 months now and have not had a single problem, ( it stays on 8+ hours a day. ) I have the Vizio VA22L, 22 inch 1080p LCD. I can personally say the screen quality is that of a monitor, ASTOUNDING. I actually use the tv as my monitor and it is freaking crazy how good it looks. I also play my 360 with this TV. In all, one of the best, if not the best tv's for the price ( 200$ - 250$ )

  • usually when 2 televisions with the same specs are priced differently ur paying for more for the brand name...sony tvs cost more in most stores because sony does not want to pay the taxes..most other tvs for sale in most stores the brand pays the taxes so the tv price goes down abit....no matter what brand of tv u buy..it can still break...all electronics can break...idk much about vizio to give an opinion..just that u shouldnt judge an applicance by its price

  • Vizio is trash.

They don't design their own TVs, they don't make their own TVs, and they do not have a service infrastructure that will help you with your TV down the road.

    Stick with a well-established brand.

Although you should find the best value for your money, keep in mind that the lowest priced offering is not necessarily the best value.

  • sony doesnt make their own tv's either...samsung makes their tvs lol ...only way i would agree with u is if u had proof that these tvs have a high breakdown rate

  • No, Sony and Samsung have a joint venture manufacturing LCD panels (this joint venture is called S-LCD, which Samsung owns 51% and Sony owns 49%), but not the whole television itself.

In addition, this joint venture was put in jeopardy when Sony started a venture with Sharp.

Sony still designs and manufactures their own models.

In addition, it's not just that their quality is inferior, it's how they treat the customer when an issue pops up.

Read up reviews and "the Vizio pop of death."

  • i know about the samsung and sony deal..didnt know it ended though....and i dont know much about vizio...the specs seem great for the price but if it breaks down easy then its pointless

  • @t190snakecharmer

It hasn't ended yet, but it most likely may due to the deal between Sony and Sharp.

And, it's not just if it breaks down, but whether or not the manufacturer will stand behind it, including for how long and how well.

  • Dont buy vizios from walmart.

  • yea mine only lasted a year they suck

  • where can i get one of these suckers in Australia?

  • their TVs only last about 2 years.. Save your money and but a Sony. It is worth it..Sony in Main room, Vizio in bed room

  • More like 19 months! That's what mine did. Now the screen flickers rapidly.

  • trash lol i got the emerson hdtv way better than vizio
