  • We went to fish for all species.. Luckily we got some nice little halibuts too.

  • DANDYS WOW LARGEST COD I HAVE EVER SEEN

  • a life time ambition of mine,to go over to norway an catch monster cod like that!

  • That's not difficult, i happen to run a fishing camp in Tromsö area, Arnöya island! It is a small, private camp, we take only one group of max 4 person at the time.

  • hi,ive seen that youve registered on my forum, thanks, ive sent u private message

  • @petpe68 Good luck to you in promoting your fishing camp, which I'm sure is great. I would have loved to go on one of the whale safaris when it's not yet season in Lofoten... but no need to be condescending! Catching "monster cod" like seen here must be quite an experience for quite a lot of people, and not just people who came from relatively far away like Liverpool. :)

  • @petpe68 that sounds just about great. sounds like less commerce than the others.

  • @petpe68 what is the fee?

  • @seafishingliverpool: First of all, excellent choice of music! Nothing could be more fitting than Dovregubbens hall ("In the hall of the mountain king" doesn't quite cut it - Dovre is a specific mountain, and Dovregubben isn't just any mountain king!) to give a majestic feeling similar to that aroused, in me at least, by the nature in northern Norway (and western Norway, btw). Where was that?

  • some monster fish guys well done

  • edvard grieg - halls of the mountain kingg

  • what was name of that song??

suomeksi: mikä ton laulun nimi on?

  • Dovregubbens hall

    By edvard grieg.

''Dovregubbens hall'' is norwegian and means The Dovregubbes (what ever that is) hall.

  • min oldefar fikke n kveite på 150 kilo. han fikk den ikke opp i båten så han måtte taue den ikk til byen, der han solgte den!

  • Som satan da xD

  • Ofcourse not, 150kg. Wow.. You would need a very strong line for this baby. And Dr. Hook to haul it up the boat. Hahaha.

  • im serious man, ive seen a picture of the fish!! it was bigger than his boat! and he had to use a big rope and tow it into town whwere he sold it for like 2000 norwegian kroner! and that was a lot of money that time! this is true

  • holy shit, thats some huge fluke!

  • yes indeed ;-D It is a halibut and they are a part of the fluke / flounder fish family.
