To be honest, I couldn't care less about what happened. He's a great actor and that's that. It was unprofessional for both Christian and Shane. No one should be walking on the set except the actors when the film is rolling and Christian shouldn't have flipped out as much as he did.
People make mistakes, we're only human. Get over it.
That was a sincere apology. I went off on my best friend like this over something personal, but we actually threw punches...This was back when we were in high school. We made up, and are still best friends to this day... That was the last time we ever had an argument too. We became better friends after the fight ha ha.
But the thing I find most disgusting with the whole situation is the Producer's and Director's indulgence of this behavior. If I was in their shoes, I would've had Mr. Bale thrown from the set for the the rest of the day. CONTROL YOUR ACTORS YOU TWITS!!! Tolerating this kind of behavior is not healthy for the workforce (set crew's) moral. Finishing the one scene THAT DAY is not worth losing set crew loyalty.
Look, I completely agree here, he was a big man for owning up to his mistakes like he did, but I still can't quite forgive him. As an actor and musician I know the pressures of performing, but you NEVER go at your crew for ANY reason. You can be pissed off but it's not your job to reprimand them, it's the director's job. Take your grievances to him and let him choose the proper course of action. Again, kudos for owning up to your mistakes Mr. Bale, maybe someday I can forgive you.
i agree with booth231, really its not your busines guys.Everyone acts sometimes like a dick but OH OF COURSE he's famous so all the jealous cunts just run to attack this actor, like if being famous make's you a more evil person!
Get a life damn it,he shouldn't even have to apologyse in public but to the person he insulted, that's all.... -_-
I've seen loads of interviews where he was a genuinely nice guy, and I think he just lost control for a minute. Even the nicest people can just go crazy when they're under pressure.
People aren't always hateful or assholeish when they freak out in public. Sometimes it's just that things are going badly and they just blow up. Last week, I went to a restaurant and the waiter made a rude offhand comment. I went to the manager and when she began to defend the waiter despite that, I started to yell at them in a 'Bale' manner. I'm usually really meek, but I was upset... They hurt my feelings and the day before I got into a terrible car accident. We may not know all the facts.
At the end of the day, it's Hollywood and who gives a shit? Bale is a great actor. I wouldn't care if the guy tortured cats in his basement. What he does is his business.
@ryanmshepard92 "I wouldn't care if the guy tortured cats in his basement. What he does is his business." Truly, you are a monumental fuckwit. Do you think before typing? What if, instead of torturing cats, he was torturing your mother? It would still be "his business" -- would you still not care? Fucking moron.
Eh everyone has bad days. Its good that Christian admitted his mistake but frankly I dunno why everyone makes such a big deal out of it. Everyone gets pissed off and has a bad day sometimes.
"Blah, blah, blah..(my apology is really just damage control, even though it's totally beneath me)..blah blah..(it makes me seem like less of a total shit to you lesser beings if I act repentant)..blah blah...(I don't give a fuck about the peons who have to kiss my ass every day)..blah blah...(I did nothing wrong) Please go see my movie (even if you can't understand that it's my God-given right to throw tantrums because I'M A SERIOUS METHOD ACTOR, DAMNIT, which excuses all of my bad behavior).
As an actor, it's hard to do intense or sad scenes. You need to get in the moment and it takes preparation. I can see why he would get pissed off. I don't like how he treated the cinematographer, but we all get mad sometimes.
He's publicly apologized several times. What more can you ask???
I think his apology is very genuine and heart felt. If it was just an attempt to save his career and wasn't sorry at all, he wouldn't have gone so far to apologize over and over again. I throughly believe him when he says that he puts a lot of work in his acting and I know that when you care so much about something, you can loose your temper easier. You can really see in his movies how much he cares for it and how much effort he puts in them and I really really love those movies :-)
as i young viewer, i live in a fantasy world most of the time. so i was really taken back to see an actor behave like this. it just goes to show you that nothing and no one is ever perfect. when hearing the rant i could only think of how stressed out he must be to freak-out on someone like that. this apology only shows that hes not a total douche bag, lol. but he props to him for being a grown-up. nobodies perfect.
I think he's an amazing actor and it takes a lot of guts to say this out loud and in front of millions of people. Just love him for being so honest and brave and still humble.
He's one of the best actors of this generation and people can't jugde him based on this. He's amazing and so down-to-earth
Dat iz wat I wuz thinkin how come wen he waz yellin he dint have hardly a accent nd den u listen to diz nd like wow it doesn't even sound like the same person ... o nd by da way I think I'm not sure but I think hea from the UK .... which is united kingdom I think I'm not sure dough
@MrMJneverforgotten when christian bale was yelling, he was still half in character so his accent was more American. When you say he didn't have an accent, that's not true, because EVERYBODY has an accent! And yes, he's from the United Kingdom, born in Wales (in the UK) but with English parents. But whether you're Welsh or English (or Scottish or Northern Irish) you still get a UK passport. :)
he shouldnt have to apologise, the man is one most dedicated actor to his movie roles, from starving himself to fit the role in the machinist, to 6month later get into a atheletic shape for batman begins, so think the guy earned right in my book to demand, a little professionalism from his co workers.
@Barzarel hypocrite? i never accused you of trolling so how am i a hypocrite? i just couldnt stand the fact that you are obviously a total asshole and have no idea what your talking about. of COURSE he should apologize and your eather looking for attention by disagreeing with the majority of the people on here or your just a complete ass. eather way as i said i hope you burn.
I love how during his rant he stays in character in the first half with the American accent, then he gets really pissed and gives up and uses his English accent.
The guy was born in Wales, lived in Portugal, grew up in Britain and moved to America. Plus the fact he's an actor who uses different accents its not hard to see why he doesn't know which country he's in
@HxCSounds He is a method actor, method actors live their part, they remain in character even when the cameras aren't rolling. They also bring in there own struggles in life to fead the part they are playing. During the entire filming of the Fighter he never spoke with this voice on or off camera that is why he is so committed and the sign of a great method actor.
IF it was not for wanting to watch batman and terminator. I dont give a shit about his movies. I go see batman and terminator because of the story not this punk ass bitch.
Get a grip on reality people, his behavior is TOTALLY indefensible!!! The only reason he is apologizing is because the sound man didn't turn the mike's off!!! If this wasn't recorded his diva temper would still go unnoticed! I'm sure this isn't the only time he's blown up. He's an actor, not a Dr. saving lives. I would've pimp slapped him after the first 5 minutes of his little boy tantrum !!!
@rgani1 actually it is the first time he done something like this. After the rant got out actors and crew members started to defend him. You have to remember that Christian Bale mind was not probably not in the space because Heath Ledger died around the time he filmed terminator.
I'm not a professional actor or anything, but I have had experience in drama where I was put in the limelight and seriously ... people try to pick EVERYTHING you do apart and try to make it look like you are stuck up, big headed and ungrateful. Imagine how hard it is for an actor? Don't think he's a liar just because he's a celebrity. I imagine it would be pretty hard to convince people that you are down to earth.
Overview: He's being too careful about keeping his career because he feels lucky to have it, that's why he gets so deep into his character, and he just got set off while in the wrong mentality.
that scene was that he was doing when that guy walked in was a really intense scene. it took a lot of emotion. i would have gone balistic to if all the dramatic tension i had been building up was braught crashing down. i am a drama student so i know how hard it is sometimes to get into your character well enough to connect deeply with your audience and other actors. he apologised for it.
@pinksfan100 yeah totally agree. If I was working in a studio and if I had top notch artist recording a very intense jazz song and I would walk in the middle of the take into the studio to change some cables I would get my assed wooped. People don't understand how it works in this business. These artists dedicate their whole lives for those takes, all their life work goes into that and if somebody fucks it up by something stupid the normal reaction is to flip out.
@pinksfan100 it is like writing your yt comment and you put alot of work in it, searched a lot of links and reedited it 7 times and when you click post you accidently press delete, every sane, normal person would scream out of pure frustration.
Goddamit he lost he's temper would you do any differnt? daem i hate this " nahh he a actor its bullshit bla bla" well i think that you wright here is bullshit! and sorry but i just think its bullshit, He lost he's temper, he apoligzed thats great so move on! Jizz
I think he is a five year old trapped in an adult's body. Everyone gets stressed out in their jobs but most people would not get away with acting like a complete douche bag. I do not feel sorry for his ignorant ass.
I've never heard this rant of Bale's but in his defense(as bad as it is)having worked in an artistic capacity for a number of years I can certainly relate to the frustration and anger he expresses. It might seem hard for someone working an average day job to understand the amount of pressure an artist -musician-actor-painter-writer etc can impose on himself in a perfectionist's quest to create good work..In that pursuit this type of freak out is almost inevitable.
@bluesborn his rant is pretty cruel. it litteraly goes on for about 10 minutes of pure "OMG what the fuck are you doing ur ruining everything get out get out im fucking quitting if this retard here makes another fucking mistake" and on and on. but seriously, it does make sense what he's saying about getting to into charecter and flipping out, im an actor and ive done it before. in his defense, when we say sorry and mean it, and plan never to do it again are we not entitled to a second chance?
@DonTheTurtleDude "are we not entitled to a second chance". I laughed when I read this, because considering the situation, Christian Bale raging hard over one tiny fuck up, and the entire premise of the movie being in essence "everyone deserves a second chance". I guess Christian didn't get the memo about the moral them of the movie.
@shorty41gtoguy it not a tiny little fuck up. The DP has done it twice not once but twice. The DP could have waited until after the take was done to fix the lights.
@2009joshyboy Still stupid though. Not like directors talk like that after actors screw up dozens of expensive takes. He is an actor... an employee, and having a freak out is fine, but conducting it in this manner on a filming set... hostly should of had him dropped from the movie for being so unprofessional. You wouldn't let a doctor or cop freak out like this on the job, why an actor.... :S
Fancy a Wank or A bloody Bird Bloke? Sometimes DPs Lose their way. He was yelling at a Director of Photography who was wrong but just doing his job. Great apology among the best now Fuck off mate!!!! just plying Great all time apology.
I like Christian Bale...."The Machinest" was great...as well as "Public Enemies" He does the American accent very well. I seriously thought he was American. One my my all time favorite actors! Him and Adrien Brody are great actors.
None of us know what truly lies in someone's heart. We can only judge a person by their actions. I don't know if Bale's apology is authentic or fake, and neither do any of you. But to publicly apologize is an honorable thing to do, so I judge this action favorably. Since I don't work with him or live with him I don't have to ask myself if he might lose his temper again. And since his acting is superb I will continue to see his movies.
@gsimonsays One of the most sensible responses I've read on this particular subject, and on celebrities in general. There's a region between the obsequious/devoted and the relentlessly punitive where our affections as bystanders/audience ought to lie. Unless one is intimately involved in an actor's life, or has been appointed as an arbiter of justice, we only waste our energies in investing our affections in either blind ardor or rage. We are tied to the work, not the person.
@kalee6 so you've never lost your temper and said things that you really didn't mean(or meant but should have kept to yourself)? Hes and actor but hes also human. Humans make mistakes(stupid mistakes). Its not excusible, but its respectful that he appologized for it, and knows he was wrong. You can even hear it during the tape that he knew he was wrong, where he said "Im sorry....Im sorry your a nice guy, but....". Sometimes you just get so worked up, anger takes over.
@SageofSorrow first of all, people should be very careful in workplace. This incident at least tells us that he is an ignorant individual. Bale humiliated a guy in front of everybodyelse for a quite a long time which makes it a lot worse. Second of all, people who are gonna be truly sorry dont act like this in the first place. I am guessing this apology is just a public interview that boost back his rep up. If u were Bale, you would apologize too no matter what since the tape is in the public
I first heard the tape where he freaked out, and was quite disappointed. But i think he means what he says here. And he's pretty right when he says ' nobody that gave comments where there'. So i don't care anymore he freaked out, he's a good man i think. Remains a great actor.
"Me and Shane are good, we've got it resolved." And i bet Shane is sitting in his basment plotting to take down Christian going "We'll see who's done professionally"
Dont get me wrong the rant was a dick move but I think he handles this with an immense amount of grace & humbleness. He owned up to it,didn't make any excuses but more importantly he settled things with the DP long before the public even knew about it & to me thats what matters the most.He doesn't owe an apology to the public for something that was between him & the people on set.God if I had my worst moment recorded & played for the world to hear I hope I'd approach it like this.Cheers Mr. Bale!
Considering Bale took almost ten minutes to apologize here, I think he really meant it. But he shouldn't be afraid of cursing. Literally almost everyone hears it every day now, no biggie. xD
@ninmachine109 Yeah you can trash him for weeks, but when the guy humbly comes onto the show and apologizes, you're not going to keep trashing him. It takes a lot to publicly apologize like that, especially on a morning show. Kevin and Bean are not idiots, nor are they completely insensitive.
@Tweeterrific I understand what your saying but it's not fair to say Christian Bale humbly apologized. He's a celebrity and when celebrities do something stupid they HAVE to apologize for the sake of there careers. If a celebrity gets busted for something all they have to do is go on Oprah or SNL and people will just forget about it. I'm not saying the guys from KROQ r idiots. I don't even listen to them. I'm just pointing out the fact that he was getting trashed before he was on the show.
anyone else notice christian was avoiding the dj's final question? Probably not intentionally but it sounded like he was trying to the end the call faster than the dj wanted.
Where most would stop in that sitation given that the room is clearly against him, his superiority complex overode that instinct. he had all the power and he abused it. I just love that the reallity is that the guy with the recorder actually had the power and just silently let him deficate all over his reputation, poetic.
lets be clear, this was not a seconds outburt in frustration. This was a tirade of considered, derogatory and threatening language that would have gotten any one of us normal people rightly fired.
@bigmediafan agreed on the notion that any one of us would get fired for stumbling into the same mistake. In saying that though, I'm not an actor, and if i was, I wouldn't have the same level of talent. Bale's extremely dedicated to getting his character roles as close as he can to perfect (eg the insane body change in The machinist)
When the whole thing was on the news I actually felt more sorry for Bale, the whole thing had been worked out between him and the DP a year before the scandal.
I could careless about how much of a jackass he may be. Just keep making good movies. Actors are stupid humans just like the rest of us, but they think they are high and mighty. do that sh** at a normal job and you'd be lucky to get a pay check after they fire you.
I'm glad to here him say he doesn't consider himself better then any one else due to his lucky position in life. I normally hate celebs for flaunting and showing off the wealth, but hearing one of them say what he has said, is not only an eye-opener but something i believe i needed to hear. As for his freak-out, honestly we all get upset, we sometimes lose it, he appologized, now just drop it, the guy's cool.
@UltimateSuperMe "I'm glad to here him say he doesn't consider himself better then any one else due to his lucky position in life. I normally hate celebs for flaunting and showing off the wealth, but hearing one of them say what he has said, is not only an eye-opener but something i believe i needed to hear."
Exactly! Why do you think Bale has a cult following? B/c he considers himself a normal guy having a very lucky job. He's an unconventional actor. Bale is the man!
@UltimateSuperMe The only reason he gave an apology is because he wanted to save face. It's all about damage control. This guys is an asshole and he's not sorry. He justs wants to star in more movies and he knows he has to give an apology to be considered for lead roles.
@UltimateSuperMe You do know that he's an actor right? He could easily be lying, and be great at it. It would just be a smart move in general to for a celebrity to openly apologize for an action they did that produces bad press. He's just smart for apologizing. We'll just have to see if he claims that he's bigger than Jesus after the opening of the next Batman movie, then we'll know for sure.
Ya I don't buy this. People should have asked him about him using knifes to bully them or taking a Mobile phone that gos off, no matter who it is. Takes the mobile phone & Nail guns it to the door of the set, Even if it is a $800 mobile, he can care less. As for this sorry of his.. I would have bought it, if old boy here did not stress about who will & who will not be seeing this movie at the end. Sounds like the Main director & co-sponsors. Good actor, Bad person.
Bale turned down the part when it was first offered to him. Then it was offered again and the 2nd time he felt that he there might still be something in this series. He really liked the direction of McG and wanted to be able to complete that. Then he has a meltdown, it goes public, now people may not see this movie that he took a chance with and everyone worked so hard in, just because of that. I would feel the need to apologize and note how good it is and how hard everyone's been working!
No! I agree, he is a grate actor, But this is not the first time he has gone off on people... Pull a Knife? If a person, that is a Actor can keep his grasp on fiction or reality. Making Movies may not be for that person. I know about the Email Sam Worthington sent he before the making of This Movie. Bale more or less told him he is a B rated Actor & douse not have the respect to be work with him. This is way before his meltdown. Movie Staff are afraid to work with him.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I witnessed Christian Bale go off on a little clerk at a 99 store in LA. He was wearing a hat and dark glasses but I knew it was Christian the moment he opened his potty mouth. He was upset about the price of some item. But he walked out the store rather than speak to the manager. Punk ass!
@SniperKingz He apologize the fuckin guy the very day. He didn't need to apologize in public. Actually he didn't even apologize, he mentioned how he regretted it immensely and that the audio hit him so hard. He's had about 50 films and 1/50 films he has a 4 min meltdown out of the 45 days of shooting.. So hmmm isn't that quite convenient that the incident happened 6 months prior to the publicized audio? Someone is trying to ruin Bale's career.
@CyberSoldierD19 I know what you're talking about still. They showed a picture of him with a knife and then mentioned about your knife story. It's complete bs.
Ya what you like 16 or something? Stop posting things you dont know what your talking about. Step back for you PC & go out & see the real world some time. Your living in a Disneyland Fairytale. People are not what the seam to be on the Big Screen in real life. When a Big Time Actor hits there peek of his/her careers they change. It all ways happens. YES. He is a Epic Actor, I cant say he is not but as a Non-Actor he is lacking in the area & as for you. Grow up quotes.
@jshah88101 why wouldn't it be real? even if he was acting whats the point of apologizing? to save his reputation? theres no point in saving his reputation by faking an apology, theres just zero logic behind that.
@cvoisgreat Hiya.. I think it would totally be worth his trying to save his rep either with a fake OR real apology- it makes sense to me. Ur probably right tho.. he could be totally sincere, really feel remorseful..or he could be acting. Hard to know really.. either way it serves him well to apologize. He did win people over with it, so it worked. But I think he will repeat behaviour even if he's sorry.
uhh why would he want to save his rep? Are u seriously asking that? Of course he wants to. He wants peple to like him. BEcause that results in more movies which means more money. U think if he hadn't apologized he would get as many movie deals? Didn't think so
Sure he does sound sincere and really sorry in this conversation. However a) he's an actor, and b) every abuser sounds this way when he is apologizing to his intimate partner after an episode of domestic violence- humble, I'm sorry, I was out of line, we've worked things out, blah blah effing blah. No normal person has this degree of anger. And at the end.. he worries people don't want to see his movie and that people will t hink he's a bully. Well he is- people do this sh_t because they CAN.
Your comparison to DV is both absurd and offensive. He had a spat with a co-worker, except that in his job (unlike yours and mine) everyone is looking at soooo much more money, so the stakes to get it right are all that much higher. Take any spat you've had with a coworker, and then make that over an issue worth a few hundred thousand or million dollars.
But, again, your comparison to DV is appalling and I'm going to call a modified Godwin's on your fallacy.
Well hello to you, too. We certainly all have our right to an opinion, but mine is likely a more educated one than yours- I've worked in a field that deals with violence and seen a lot of this sort of behaviour. No it's not a domestic violence episode per se- that would be between domestic partners obviously- but the dynamics are similar.
It was not a "spat with a co-worker." It was a bullying abusive tirade to an "inferior" or subordinate, which mkes for a different power dynamic, doesn't it?
I am also - I think- understanding you to say that because Bale makes more money than you and I, it was okay for him to behave this way- since there is a lot of money involved.
Interesting line of thought.
The funny thing is even doctors - while embroiled ermergencies= don't tend to have this sort of abusive tirade. They simply don't have the bloody time.. they're doing something substantive: ie saving a life..as opposed to making a movie. Am confused as to what this has to do with Hitler.
my last comment is we all have the right to an opinion but please do not call mine absurd and offensive- that in itself is disrespectful. You are quite young and I am guessing male- and likely have little experience in this area. Thanks for your comment but please be respectful.. this should be the end of it.
You know - I appreciate this. It shows your fanaticism to a cause you don't view objectively. As it happens, I do work with Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Victim Advocacy from both a state and federal perspective.
This was not a violent abuse of an individual whom has placed their trust in you through intimacy. This is not a violation. It is someone being a bully and a dick, yes, but the difference between this and DV (emotionally, psychologically) are vast.
You are not understanding - I refer to the stakes involved. Doctors and EMTs DO in fact, have not dissimilar problem. They're fields wrought with psychological turmoil and stress. They maintain on the job as often as possible but suffer for it personally. Nowhere did I say it was an excuse, I asked you to try to empathize, but obviously your misandrism won't allow for that.
i cant beleive you think being an over-paid hollywood wanker, is anything like being a doctor or a paramedic lol....i could empthise if his rant was for a minute or two....his apology was an act as well....he would have got his teeth knocked out if it was me...a bit less 'roids maybe??
You opinion was absurd, this was nothing like the intimate violations and trauma of DV. Your comparison is offensive because it diminishes the suffering of those victims in your zealotry to prove a point and sound enlightened.
To be honest, I couldn't care less about what happened. He's a great actor and that's that. It was unprofessional for both Christian and Shane. No one should be walking on the set except the actors when the film is rolling and Christian shouldn't have flipped out as much as he did.

People aren't always hateful or assholeish when they freak out in public. Sometimes it's just that things are going badly and they just blow up. That's where the real proof is.

@TheKittiesKill Just for damage control and his appearance in the press/public. It's as fake as his acting.
RDJudesie 2 weeks ago

@HxCSounds He is a method actor, method actors live their part, they remain in character even when the cameras aren't rolling. They also bring in there own struggles in life to fead the part they are playing. I imagine it would be pretty hard to convince people that you are down to earth.

that scene was that he was doing when that guy walked in was a really intense scene. it took a lot of emotion. i would have gone balistic to if all the dramatic tension i had been building up was braught crashing down. i am a drama student so i know how hard it is sometimes to get into your character well enough to connect deeply with your audience and other actors. he apologised for it.
pinksfan100 1 year ago 2
@pinksfan100 yeah totally agree. If I was working in a studio and if I had top notch artist recording a very intense jazz song and I would walk in the middle of the take into the studio to change some cables I would get my assed wooped. People don't understand how it works in this business. These artists dedicate their whole lives for those takes, all their life work goes into that and if somebody fucks it up by something stupid the normal reaction is to flip out.

I've never heard this rant of Bale's but in his defense(as bad as it is)having worked in an artistic capacity for a number of years I can certainly relate to the frustration and anger he expresses. It might seem hard for someone working an average day job to understand the amount of pressure an artist -musician-actor-painter-writer etc can impose on himself in a perfectionist's quest to create good work..In that pursuit this type of freak out is almost inevitable.
bluesborn 1 year ago
@bluesborn his rant is pretty cruel. it litteraly goes on for about 10 minutes of pure "OMG what the fuck are you doing ur ruining everything get out get out im fucking quitting if this retard here makes another fucking mistake" and on and on. but seriously, it does make sense what he's saying about getting to into charecter and flipping out, im an actor and ive done it before. in his defense, when we say sorry and mean it, and plan never to do it again are we not entitled to a second chance?
DonTheTurtleDude 1 year ago
@DonTheTurtleDude "are we not entitled to a second chance". I laughed when I read this, because considering the situation, Christian Bale raging hard over one tiny fuck up, and the entire premise of the movie being in essence "everyone deserves a second chance". And since his acting is superb I will continue to see his movies.
gsimonsays 1 year ago 30
@gsimonsays One of the most sensible responses I've read on this particular subject, and on celebrities in general. There's a region between the obsequious/devoted and the relentlessly punitive where our affections as bystanders/audience ought to lie. Unless one is intimately involved in an actor's life, or has been appointed as an arbiter of justice, we only waste our energies in investing our affections in either blind ardor or rage. We are tied to the work, not the person.

kalee6 1 year ago
@kalee6 so you've never lost your temper and said things that you really didn't mean(or meant but should have kept to yourself)? Hes and actor but hes also human. Humans make mistakes(stupid mistakes). Its not excusible, but its respectful that he appologized for it, and knows he was wrong. You can even hear it during the tape that he knew he was wrong, where he said "Im sorry....Im sorry your a nice guy, but....". Sometimes you just get so worked up, anger takes over.
SageofSorrow 1 year ago
@SageofSorrow first of all, people should be very careful in workplace. This incident at least tells us that he is an ignorant individual. Bale humiliated a guy in front of everybodyelse for a quite a long time which makes it a lot worse. Second of all, people who are gonna be truly sorry dont act like this in the first place. I am guessing this apology is just a public interview that boost back his rep up. If u were Bale, you would apologize too no matter what since the tape is in the public
kalee6 1 year ago
I first heard the tape where he freaked out, and was quite disappointed. But i think he means what he says here. And he's pretty right when he says ' nobody that gave comments where there'. So i don't care anymore he freaked out, he's a good man i think. Remains a great actor.

Tweeterrific 1 year ago
@Tweeterrific I understand what your saying but it's not fair to say Christian Bale humbly apologized. He's a celebrity and when celebrities do something stupid they HAVE to apologize for the sake of there careers. If a celebrity gets busted for something all they have to do is go on Oprah or SNL and people will just forget about it. I'm not saying the guys from KROQ r idiots. I don't even listen to them. @bigmediafan agreed on the notion that any one of us would get fired for stumbling into the same mistake.
