i just put one on my 2002 chevy Avalanch but i put the 40 series...is the super 44 alot louder then the 40 series ...?????...and does it sound better then 40 series??

well gas really isnt a issue.i thought of going v8 .but i thought that would be a little much for the s 10.but it still is something im considering.what do you know about procharger vs turbocharger?which one would you go with? thank you for your response..and i like the way your truck sounds.there is a video on you tube that has a s 10 with a ls1 in it. its called real street performance.it looks really good.i am striving for that look.you might want to check it out. ok thanks and take it easy.

@jay112273 If i was going to add power to my truck i would go turbo. You can always buy bigger turbos and better BOV's and adjust PSI to gain more power. im not very familiar witt prochargers. i wud suggest that you keep searching for what set up would best suit your needs. try going on forums, a lotta dudes have good info on this topic. hope all ends well for u and good luck!!

i have a 97 s 10 2.2 4 cyl. i am looking to achieve at least 300 hp.what would be cheaper?put in a 4.3 v 6 with some mods.or keep the 2.2 have it rebuilt and amped up.to 300 hp?

@jay112273 if gas consumption is not a factor u might want to go V8. sum ppl ive talked to who have swapped 2.2l for 4.3V6 end up with V8. 300 Hp may be available with 4.3 if u stage 2 turbo it but that takes cash if u have it. i would do some research on what your upgrade options are for 2.2 and 4.3. im thinking of putting a Nissan SR20 or RB25 in mine once i get enough cash. good luck and let me know how it turns out!

punch about 4 holes on the middle of the muffler about two inches apart , not on the pipe.. let me know how it sounds make a vid if possible!

i also thought it would sound like an import but i did it any way..you know another way to have a loud exhaust sound is by getting a hammer and a philips screwdriver and punching holes on your exhaust..lol i should have tried it before i went and gotten my 44 series ...
