awful part for louise......in an awful movie LOL BUT what a treat to be able to hear her talk! her voice is great. and very upscale sounding for growing up in kansas.... sounds like the upper west side of nyc or something. wish she had her signature bangs, but i guess by the start of the 30s syles were changing. thanks for posting

Love Louise Brooks. What a bombshell. Lots of stars must have got inspiration from her looks & style. She wasnt a great 'talkie actress' as she admitted!She was for me the most beautiful woman ever.Its great to hear her, even if the acting is so awful!

I guess Louise Brooks was right when she said she wasn't a good actress.She was equally bad in the John Wayne film also.She gave good face,and was good at being herself.

this was about as good as it got for Brooks and talking films, her scenes are in and out .. they never gave her a part in any talking film worth a notice, most beautiful in gods gift to Women, with Frank, Fay (GOD WHAT A BAD ACTOR)
