"thats the way" de "kc and te sunshine band", algo asi al comenzar dice "uuu uuuuuu uuu uuuuu" acompaÑado de la pista de all that she wants... la cancion es chevere, hasta hace poco la he escuchado en la radio de casualidad y me recorde.un favor si la conocen me pasan el dato

  • The 90's!!!

  • ça fait plaisir d'entendre qu'elles chantent en français, même quelques mots! :) i love this team! fantastic

  • I find this whole conversation fascinating - AND a fantastic way to learn some simple French sentences... What is the translation of the next few lines please? Like my response to the question "Voulez Vous Danser..." How does one responde si vou ple?

  • Hell yes I will dance with you. And I did. Many times as a kid in my basement, with this song turned up full blast!

  • @spiraloutward You and me both! LOL!

  • outside is horrible i just want to stay indoors and listen to ace of base

  • hehe my elementry school dayz yay! miss thoes

  • "Ce soir" means this evening. I'm guessing tonight would be more like "Ce nuit".

At any rate "Voulez vous danser avec moi" would just mean "Will you dance with me?" "Voulez vous danser avec moi ce soir" would mean "Will you dance with me this evening?"...

Mind you I can only baby talk in French. It's still not as tricky as people are making it out to be.

  • it means exact : will you dance with me " when your talking to friends of the same generation

  • Ok, I know it means will you dance with me tonight, I've had about 30 of you tell me that, I GET IT GEEZ! I used some crappy translator program, I don't know french.

  • casette player in 1997.......doing work as a 6 year old kid....good times

  • Love It!

  • I love ace if base since 1993 or so. I am glad I have Swedish ancestry but could use a night with the girls. This was the hottest dance music in early 90's in my opinion

  • i love this song since 1996...i think so...

  • Did anyone else rock out to this in 5th grade like i did? Oh yes I would break out this song and dance routine during a game of 2 square. I miss the good ol' 90's. I was a strange kid what can i say?

  • @JolieDansNoir82

Don't worry I did it too and I wasn't the only one ! That's what good music usually do....

  • me encanta!!

    I love it!

  • looool i was trying to remember this song for years

    it' was great times

    thnx dear for sharing

  • I have this CD since 1994 LOVE IT, TOTALLY RECOMENDED from start to finish!!!!

  • yeah its a good song i had this album and also had crul summer but lost both of them :(

  • I like this song!!!

  • hihi! I got 5 copys of that CD!

  • Why?

i cannot think of any logical reason that you would do that.

    Enlighten me.

  • I myself have had to buy new copies. Each one got played so much, they eventually became useless. The 1st two copies were on tapes. I remember being shocked when I got the album on CD as a birthday present!

  • DAMN they don't make the CD anymore that sucks

  • I love this song!

And this is a VERY creatiuve visual, i can see.

  • Damn it I'm old!

  • I KNOW!!! I feel ld too

  • Me too....

  • LOL awesome!!

  • Sick beat

  • gosh i forgot how much i loved this song...hmmmm loooong long time ago

  • This was like the first tape I ever bought, I was so proud of myself. Man we don't even make tapes anymore!! I still love this band

  • HAHAHA me too!!

  • damn! I am NOW LOOKING to buy the CD for The Sign and The Bridge but i can not find them anywhere! they are no longer in production

  • Yeah, I know! Anything from the 90's is hard to obtain now since people are so obsessed with advanced technology like Ipods and Blackberries. The movement of the CDs and then the DVDs are nearly over. You can download new music online but really old tracks like Ace of Base's first CD are tough to find when a new generation of music lovers are listening to mainstream singers. Ace of Base is pretty old with one singer who left permanently back in '04 or something. Their music is generic now.

  • fuck downloading shit. I will always use my CD's or DVD's. I hate downloads, as they are unreliable and easily corruptible.

  • @hippocampus23 No it isnt, I can download Ace of Base Music in less that a minute, the fact that its in Youtube make this very downloable. And what the hell do Ipod have to do with hard to find music?, In fact it make it easy because theres new ways to get the music.

And for the record. Ace of Base was pretty mainstream. And dont take it as an insult, it was good, so it become mainstream!. Simple as that

  • Lo maximoooooooooo

  • will you dance with me -in french!

  • Ace of Base rulez!

  • memories...memories..one of the best from AOB..

  • what does Voulez-Vous Danser mean like somthing in french?

  • Voulez is the conjugated version of saying "You [plural] will" and danser means dance. Together, it's "will you dance with me?".

  • @AznJynx13 Voulez is the FORMAL way...used for proper proposals :-)

  • i love this song!

it brings memories back from my childhood!!

thanks for posting this vid! :D

  • my good, so many memories, i remeber the time,12-15 years ego, lol

  • so many memories shared in this record!

  • watch me singing one of their songs when you want ;)

  • the phrase is conjugated both personally and formally, wtf lol. Voulez-vous formal, danser informal, should be dansez to go with the vous, otherwise it would be Vouler-tu danser avec moi, of course this all assumes I;m remembering correctly. Yes I'm nitpicking, call me a perfectionist :P

  • and of course, i cant edit my response once i see what i typed and realize that it really should be danser(to dance). It doesn't need to be conjugated at all where it is in the sentence. Way to show my ass though lol.

  • good job... lol i nitpick too :-)

  • I'm Swiss and I speak french. "Voulez-vous danser" is absolutly correct ! Well, miss the "?" in the end but that's correct.

"Want you dance ?" is the translation in english ;)

  • now, can i ask, its correctly to say:

    "want you dance?"

    xP

  • word by word and literally : "Want-you to dance with me this night" Obviously translation paraphrases it to: "Do you want to dance with me tonight"

  • Voulez-vous coucher avec moi (ce soir)? mean do u want to sleep with me

  • avec moi (ce soir)? mean do u want to sleep with me

  • it's great! :)

  • Thanks for posting this!!! :)

  • Sweet. Thanks for posting this. Reminds me of when I was a kid.

  • That song makes me remember my childhood

  • you know what it made me think about mine too, so i did abit of research and its a french phrase, which they actually say this in the song, Voulez-vous danser avec moi ce soir which in english means "Do you want to sleep with me (tonight)?" Linn and Jenny are hot..go figure.

  • Wow, thanks for that info. I did not know that.

  • No, it means "Do you want to dance with me?"

Do you want to sleep with me would be "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi?"

  • @magenta200 No, actually very polite french for "Would you like to dance with me tonight?"

and "Would you like to sleep with me tonight?" would be "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir?"

  • @Raskar485 o wow i was like 8 singing this not even knowing what it meant lol

  • @Raskar485 Actually, "voulez-vous danser avec moi ce soir" means "Will you dance with me tonight?" The phrase you're thinking of comes from the song Lady Marmalade and that would be, "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi, ce soir?"

  • @Raskar485 thats standard french level 2 in high school m8

  • @Raskar485

No. Danser is Dance. It's: Would you like to dance with me?

Voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir is the question/phrase in the Lady Marmalade song and that is: Would you like to sleep with me tonight?

There's danser and there's coucher. Dance vs. sleep. Very different.

  • @Raskar485 sorry it doesn't mean: Do you want to sleep with me tonight, but Do you want to dance with me tonight? Do you want to sleep with me tonight is voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir.

    A French girl :D

  • I love french songs

  • @80sgirl2010 It is Swedish

  • @Raskar485 Actually 'Voulez - vous coucher avec moi' means 'Do you wanna sleep with me tonight?' and 'Voulez - vous dancer avec moi?' means 'Do you wanna dance with me tonight?'

  • @Raskar485 um coucher is sleep, danser is dance. you're thinking of a different song, by patti labelle.

  • @Raskar485 no it means Will you dance with me tonight ..I asked my French teacher, plus i used a translator b/c danser in French means dance.
