  • So many white people in one place. Is this a klan meeting?

  • Filmed at Little Darlins Old Town Kissimmee, Florida? My favorite hang out In the late 80's to early 90's Opened In 1986 closed permantly in 1992 Was Wolfman Jacks Rock and Roll Palce from 1991 to 1992, I just loved that place so sad It's no longer with us.

  • Well, of course the original recording will be the best, it was when Johnny was in his prime and was also the first time you have heard this song. I am 22 years old, I was not able to hear the original when it first came out on the radio, but my mother would play this song all the time in the car and although I also do prefer the original, I can appreciate this live version (which is so many years later) for what it is.

  • I love this clip, but what a terrible presentation. who wants to look at the audience, and long shots are not needed

  • wtf..

  • Johnny went to John Gorrie Jr and Robert E Lee high Schools with me in Jacksonville, Florida where he grew up with me.

  • @Larrywg1

    Did you talk to him?

  • @Larrywg1 I thought Johnny grew up In Palatka near Gainsville and went to High School there?

  • This is music. So touching, and thank-you God for the talent that you have given. I'ts awesome

  • My e-husband broke my 45's because he was so jealious that I played them over and over. To bad I divorced and bought new ones. Thanks for your music.

  • wow. He looks and sounds great!

  • One of Tilllotson's great hits! this song is timeless.

  • he sounds better than his squeeky teen voice in 1961 !!

  • The master, i love this music for my father

  • The year was 1960. I was a fan from day one. Johnny was one of many idols of the era. He was an earmark for me...love him always for his effect on my life. Hear his songs....remember where you were at that time of your life....now that is what life is all about...memories. Thanks Johnny. Sorry that I didn't make it to see you in Washington State when I was there in the 70's.

  • what year is this

  • Anyone know what year this was?

  • This was filmed at the Little Darlin's club, sometime in the late 1980's....it was Wolfman Jack's club, but i'm not sure if he changed the name when he bought it, as i seem to have read somewhere that he bought the club in 1989 and changed the name of it after. Youtube is full of performances from the club from the 80's, Johnny Thunder, Del Shannon, etc....

  • His vocals are still good, but the song is nothing without a decent sax line, that was just awful... and no counter melody in the high voice which is present in the original recording, thats what gives the song its 'cheesy' charm that we all love!

  • I prefer the original recording.

  • He sounds like the first time he sang the song....

  • yes, his voice..however the band definatelly not...

  • i see to him 4 week in clear lake !!WDP 50 winters later

  • still sounds great especially the start!

  • ı like it !

  • dude

  • Thanks!!!!!

  • The "pompadour" lives on!
